I give these to my 14 year old Shi Tzu because she has a hard time eating hard treats at her age. They aren't as soft as what comes in the small foil package but she is able to eat them without difficulty.

These are good treats for my small breed dog and he does like them. I won't say they're his favorite because he doesn't grab them like he does the others but for the quality and price I will purchase again and I do recommend them.
