I bought a set of 4 of these tires back in Dec 2016 for my 2011 Ford Fusion SEL and got a local mom and pop shop to install them. They rode smooth and quiet for 34,500mi and 4 years I got out of them before I had to replace them (rotated them a few times but was sticking to a mileage rotation schedule). When it was time to get new tires, I decided to get these same set of tires because I really liked how they felt on the car and their price point fits my budget. These were mounted on a South Florida car so I did not experience snow or any extreme cold weather surfaces with these tires, but I did experience driving in really hot temperatures, local street flooding and torrential downpours during highway driving and the car handled well. I saw some reviews that mentioned having tires that have broken belts and other issues after a few hundred miles, but I was lucky with my first set of tires so I rolled the dice and got them again. When you buy stuff like this online you are taking a chance that things work out because if it doesn’t then you have an uphill battle trying to prove a defective product to someone who is not around for you to physically show them what is wrong with the product, and then you have a third party doing the install and that complicates things even more. Hope this helps. Keep the shiny side up!! ;-) ... show more

  • Multiple Sets & So Far Good Alternatives
Size: 225/40R18
These are my go to cheap tires. I have used them when I needed tires in a pinch for my: 2001 Toyota Camry (commuter car), 2011 Honda Pilot, & now my 2015 Civic Si (also a commuter car) over the last four years. On the Camry which was slow & relatively lightweight, they outlasted the car. They were on for over a year & the car was used for a 100 mile daily commute. They were barely showing any wear when I let the car go. On the Pilot, we were wearing out the OEM Goodyears in under 20k. They were twice the cost & not very good tires for the heavy SUV. The Milestars last almost two years per set & I have never had one fail. My wife is the primary driver of the Pilot & really puts it through it's paces. It will break grip in extremely heavy rain with "floor stomping" acceleration, otherwise they communicate well. Since the Si is now my road car for the 100 mile commute, I have grown tired of replacing the fairly expensive Continental summer tires that came on it (remember 25k+ each year). There were all-season OEM's but they were not much cheaper & have now gone out of production. I considered a few "performance" tires, but remembered my go to. So far they have worked well, & I drive it fairly spiritedly. For the price, I'd be more inclined or not at all resistant to replacing them at these low prices even if I get less than the expected mileage. Good: Price, fairly durable for "cheap" tires, balance without issues, are quiet compared to OEM on my vehicles, decent performance. They wear very well on lighter vehicles. Consistently manufactured (all look the same, are round, don't knot/split/dry rot) Don't look cheap. Bad: Will break traction if pushed too hard in heavy rain (overly aggressive), are not snow/ice tires, the name needs to go!! They are at their root, cheap "outsourced" tires. I'm not implying that these are the new sliced bread, but they have exceeded my earlier expectations at their price point compared to my prior purchases. I love sticky rubber, but I can't justify spending $600 or more each year just to blaze around curves. As long as their quality remains consistent, I'll keep them on my short list of tires. ... show more

  • The last set on Michelin's for my 08 VW Passat sedan cost me over $700 plus mounting and balancing (no complaints they were a go
Size: 235/45R17
I've always said that you shouldn't compromise when it comes to tires for your car, it is the only contact between your car and the road and your safety depends on it. The last set on Michelin's for my 08 VW Passat sedan cost me over $700 plus mounting and balancing (no complaints they were a good tire) and this time around with 141K miles and 8 years old I had a hard time justifying paying that kind of money for tires and went the complete opposite getting a set of the 235/45/15 MS932 Sport tires for $280 plus mounting and balancing. It has only been a week but so far so good, ride smooth and quiet and handling is as good as the Michelin tires, they look nice on the car and the DOT marking on the tire has them manufactured late March 2016 so they are fresh tires that have not been sitting around a warehouse for years either. The tread design looks a lot like the Michelin's on a co-worker's Mercedes, I am sure that is what they are aiming for is from a distance you think they are from the other "M" tire manufacturer...... Milestar is manufactured by Nankang, NANKANG Rubber Tire was incorporated in 1959, and is Taiwan's oldest and most respected tire manufacturer so it is just not a name we are familiar with here in US. Time will tell but after the first week and a few hundred miles I am happy with my purchase but when it comes time to buy tires for the VW Touareg I will most likely spend the money for the Michelin's at least until that car has 150K or more miles and needs tires. ... show more

  • Great hoops for your daily driver !
Size: 225/60R16
The tire are excellent, they mounted up easily and with no bead leaks or issues. They work GREAT in northern snow on my front wheel drive Impala. I can mount my own tires at a friends shop so buying loose tires is a big savings for me. Shipping was lightning fast from many states away via fedex (the sensors were sent USPS took over a month) . ... show more
