What were thick and lush eyelashes are pitiful never having grown back the same after being lost to chemo. I've used other, very expensive, tubing mascara varieties and while they are nice the price isn't. This Milani product is a very pleasant surprise! I use a mascara foundation product underneath and let that dry completely before applying this product. That does make it a bit clumpy so I use a lash comb to separate and hold the lashes while the mascara dries. A plus is that it removes so easily with just a warm washcloth and my usual cleanser. I can echo what all the great reviews say about no smudging, flaking, and easy removal with water. The very wet formula can be messy with long lashes. I use a hair dryer to dry the mascara after application so that I can move on. I also use the dryer to heat the eyelash curler and curl prior to applying mascara. This creates curls that last. I always need eyebrows. My Aunt, back in the day, use to pluck me thin and almost bald. Plus, now with age, I find my eyebrows must have surrendered because they will NOT grow back in spots, and especially I have no tails. I have tried almost everything on the market. I saw this pencil being used by a makeup artist on You Tube and thought why not? I figured I had been disappointed before. My graveyard makeup drawer is testimony to this fact. Therefore, I was not expecting much from this product. I was pleasantly surprised the first time I used this pencil. Now I will not go out without it. I purchased this in their darkest brown shade. It is so easy to apply. The precision tip lets you get as artistic as you need without being a makeup pro. My brows finally look naturally full again—for the first time in years. I am thrilled about having natural looking tails to my eyebrows again. Gone is the punctuation mark look above my eyes . The added brush at the other end is also handy—although, I would much prefer a second pencil of product in its spot. Which brings me to my only drawback about this pencil. I feel as if this pencil is not going to last very long before it runs out—especially with daily application. A second pencil, instead of the supplied brush, would be great for fill in. And let’s face it—most of us have brow brushes— many of which can be resurrected from the makeup graveyard drawer. I don't much in the way of lashes, and what I do have are light. My lashes have always done best with a thick brush and Milani Highly Rated Mascara has a thick brush. Was expecting more coverage and length after ready all of the articles on "Tubing" mascara. Not real pricey. Maybe I need to apply more coats. Only applied 2 coats... Still, disappointed. Update: Tried 3 coats. Lashes clumped together, didn't look any better than 2 coats perhaps worse. Nope, do not recommend. Plus I've tried 2 makeup removers and my eyes burned removing this mascara with both brands. Will not buy again. ... show more

I have extremely oily skin - no combination of products has ever kept me oil free. Because of this mascaras always give me bad raccoon eyes, even waterproof. With this I am raccoon eye free ALL DAY. Recently I wore this on a trip from Las Vegas to Miami and once I reached my hotel and checked the mirror it was still perfectly intact. Mascara review WHAT I WANT IN A MASCARA: happy with my lash length, I just want a mascara that holds a curl and doesn’t smudge. Also easy to take off. REVIEW: Application matters. Don’t wiggle the wand at the base or apply thick coats, unless you’re looking to resemble Yzma from Emperor’s New Groove. I recommend light application to just the tips, wait to dry, and add a little to the rest. I tested the longevity of this from 9am application to 5pm. No smudges, and the curl held!
