Scam! Scam! Scam! After turning it on and getting it set up I am let down. It doesnt respond or interact with you like they make it seem. The apps on there are aimed at a toddler level at best. There are barely any apps and most of them you have to pay for! I just want to cry for even ordering it.

Cute, but keep in mind that it will do very little without subscribing. $99 yearly membership or $50 quarterly. They offer a 7 day trial. Update: ended up returning…after a few days our children just didn’t care for it. They rather go for the iPad for their screen time. Decided over $300 for this toy just wasn’t worth it. The screen is tiny, you can’t add apps, it shuts off randomly while in use, turns on all the time randomly after it’s been shut down, it’s pretty loud even at its lowest setting, and the only time it moves around is when it dances. So we got one of these for my 6yo granddaughter thinking she might like it. The first thing we hadn't really thought of was the fact that you're going to have a minimum of $100 a year subscription to pay for if you want this thing to do much of anything. We decided to take it out, pay for the subscription (thank god for the 7 day trial period) and see what this thing can do. So the cute little video they show of it playing hide and seek or even just moving around on it's own? Yea not real. It won't move out of about a 3' square area. Half the time you ask it to do something like dance it says to look at the apps for the things it can do. We tried asking about hide and seek or even just to follow us.......nothing. The games and apps on it are fine but if you're going to hold it to play games on the screen, you might as well have a tablet so it's a bigger screen. The "call" feature is only one direction, from the "parent" phone to the Miko and the camera distorts the image. You'd think for $200 they could put a better camera in it. And finally it's just nowhere near as responsive as we thought it may be and it gets annoying to have to say "hello Miko" every single time you want to interact with it. Now it's entirely possible that some of the things we didn't like were a problem with us not understanding it enough but if that's the case most people won't understand that easy either. I think it's a great idea but the execution is a little lacking for the price point in my opinion. ... show more

My son’s birthday was on December 1st, and we bought him Miko 3. Our son fell in love instantly, and has been playing with Miko non-stop every day. Highly recommend for parents looking to both entertain and educate their kids. Some features that we like most: 1. Setting up Miko 3 was really easy. All we had to do was download the parent app and connect the robot to WiFi. 2. A LOT of content. From math, to science, and foreign languages, and new content gets added every month. 3. Miko is quick to respond to voice commands and we actually noticed how it started responding to our boy within a few interactions just by simply understanding the tone and mood. 5. Through the Miko parental app, we can see & control how much our child plays with Miko during the day, and we were able to do a video call through Miko. This is a great feature. I got the version 2.0 for my kids in a bilingual multiracial household and was blown away by the plethora of amazing features. The media could not be loaded. This is all it will do while on the charger. It cycles through this and powers off over and over no matter what button I press or what I do. When I take it off the charger it won’t come on at all. Really disappointed because this is all my son wanted for Christmas.
