I originally had a pair of black boots I wore the heck out of from hot topic till the died. But I wanted something new and different than just black so when I stumbled upon these I bought them immediately. I added the bat wings that came with the HT boots onto these (can buy these wings off Amazon as well or Etsy). Yes, I was in the pit with these boots and they survived, even the zippers. They're comfortable, lightweight AND durable. I've worn them multiple times now and always get compliments on how cute they are. Definitely worth it.

Bought these for a Halloween costume and they were surprisingly really comfortable. I was standing for about 5 hours in them and my feet weren’t sore. They’re lightweight so they don’t feel too heavy. They fit great.

Just got these in the mail today and based on first impressions, it looks just like the picture. Very cute, goth shoes that any regular or even serious goth/alt person could enjoy. The quality of the shoe however is yet to fully be discovered since I only put them on long enough to do a test walk around the house. The material is somewhat plasticy and mid quality to be honest, and the platform sole itself kinda feels like foam, so far they're study enough to carry me at over 200 lbs so they can't be that bad. The chain is definitely cheaply made but certainly does the job, and mine at least came with it and was in perfect condition considering the previous gripes. The shoe is also a bit snug due to the material and you should definately size up at least 1/2, or full if your feet are wider. Negatives aside I think these shoes are definitely suitable if you're not looking for anything too expensive and maybe if you're experimenting with your first pair of platforms. These are my first personally and I'm interested to see how they fair after some good wearing. I'd also like to mention that I think the quality might depend on which style you choose. I saw a lot of comments of the same few styles that were all terrible reviews, but the few that bought the same style as me seemed to receive what they expected, myself included so definitely take that into account when buying. i love these boots, they were higher than i expected but i love it, they go perfect with my ghost face costume and they’re so comfy, i wore them for about 2 hours yesterday and my feet didn’t feel bad at all!!

I am a short man and aged also 79. So, it Seem's like I am also shrinking. I love to ride my 1994 Harley Ultra classic. It's a long reach for me to touch the ground from the seat. Standing up on my toes I can make it. I saw these boots and felt the excitement of a relief. YES, I take a lot of harassment from the guys about they look like the boots the gals wore back in the 70's. But let me tell you they give me insurance of a safer and more stable ride.
