Hands down been the best case I've had for the Fold3. HOWEVER, you WILL experience minor inconveniences. I've bought two of these. With both I experienced the magnets breaking, going to try a drop of superglue this time to put it back. Other one that just happened today was that the stand broke, but never happened with the first one I had. Also if you're in a line of work that isn't being behind a desk, the paint will eventually start chipping away. Case is cheap enough to just buy another though. Tried contacting the seller the first time I had issues and never heard back. Hence why I just bought a 2nd one. No other company has come close to the hinge protection which is why I like this case so much, it really keeps the dirt out and the hinge stays closed. ... show more

I love this case very much. The hinge protection mechanism is excellent and works perfectly. My Fold once got bumped on the unprotected hinge and the inner screen broke. It wasn't shattered or cracked in any way, but it stopped working. Luckily Samsung fixed it for free, but I learned a lesson about protecting the hinge. Even more impressive then the case is the customer service. Just know that if by chance you have any problems with your case, customer service will work with you to find an easy solution.     • My Fold 3 fits in this case
Color: Black
This case is a decent case. It fits my Fold 3 without issues. It comes in 2 pieces. Things I like: 1. It allows opening the phone without issues. 2. It protects the hinge. It is like a cover/door that snaps in place with a magnet. The magnet is pretty strong. There are 6 long magnets, meaning that there are 3 on each side. 3. When closed the screen edges are chamfer (ramped down) so you can easily access the edges. Since I do use the edge feature this was a must for me. Note that I would have gotten the Spigen version but the reviews mentioned that the edges were hard to access. Whether that's true I don't know.. but it did steer me to get this case instead. 4. I can actually open this case without needing the adhesives.. note that this takes practice, otherwise use the adhesive tape. This case does come with adhesive tape, but I haven't adhered it on yet. (Read dislike section) 5. The hinge cover acts as a grip when it is open in tablet mode. 6. Buttons are accessible. 7. Camera is protected by the case now is further out than the camera lens. It doesn't look like it is blocking anything.. and the lens is perfectly centered in the cutout holes. 8. Kickstand works fine when the phone is folded. When the phone is in tablet mode, it also works fine.. but it feels a bit flimsy when standing the phone vertically. It is magnetically held closed and doesn't look like it would accidentally pop open. Didn't like: 1. Not really a don't like but the magnets are pretty strong. It's a good thing it is strong, but it is bad when opening the case.. depending on how you position your hands when opening. When you open with slight pressure on the hinge to keep it closed, it would push into the front cover and drive it out a bit, hence you have to snap it back in place. Now I understand why Spigen and other companies with hinge protecting cases have double-sided adhesives. It pushes the front cover off. 2. When Fold is open (tablet mode), you can see the curvature of the edge does not match the contour of the Fold. You can see the air gap.. it annoys me a bit, but not sure if it is enough to make me want to return it yet.. The only good thing I can think of is it acts as a little buffer if dropped on its corner, but still tad annoying. So this means that when open it doesn't look like a "perfect" fit if you look closely. Since I have black on black, it is harder to notice. 3. I don't need the text "AI Autofocus" on the case.. but I can live with it. I think if I lightly sand it, it might just come off. Note: I paid for this with my own money. It was not given to me for my review. As I look at the other reviews, I notice that the reviews are for other products than what is listed.. This means this seller just updates this sale to what they want to sell.. hence look at what you buy. I will post photos of what I buy later (a bit busy now). If it doesn't match then my review doesn't apply to this. Update: I still haven't used the adhesive and the phone case is still holding on pretty good. (it is possible some of the plastic shifted which allows part of the sticker to stick to the phone.. but nevertheless it is holding together. The magnets are still holding in place. none have pop out. The stand for the phone sticks out so I expect it to rub off the anodizing before any other part of the phone.. if you slide the phone. The stand also is pretty week. It does have a spring load that props it open.. but it is way too weak. If you slide the phone while it is open and standing, it likely will cause the phone to fall. I don't ever plan to use the stand unless it is at the low angle.. even then I probably won't use it. Maybe if I replace the spring it might help, but a stronger spring means it might pop open any time since it is only be held closed by a magnet. I still really like this case and plan to keep on using it. Note that I'm a Spigen fan.. all my other phones I've used Spigen. I'm just mentioning this to show I know about quality cases. Update: 2/22/2022 1. Case is still working great. I just installed a WhiteStone Dome glass on it and it fitted without issues in the front opening. 2. I tried charging my Samsung watch with the power share feature and it it was able to charge it through the case. 3. The kickstand is still flimsy to me, to a point where I don't feel like using it. The kickstand also is the most outer point of the case on the camera side.. so the kickstand shows wear marks from rubbing surfaces. I DO NOT RECOMMEND USING THE KICKSTAND WHEN OPEN. 4. The front screen scrolling and moving my finger is easy on the right side of the screen, but could be a little trickier on the left side since it is thicker in height. I can still make it to the edge at the very tip of the finger. 5. When I was installing the glass shield, I figured out why the front case section doesn't slip off when opening the Fold3. Apparently there was enough friction from me opening and closing the Fold3 that the double side tape got partially exposed. I'm talking about a tiny section which was able to hold the front section on. I'm going to keep it that way since I don't want to fight the adhesive if I want to take the case off. 6. No issue with magnets falling out. I might be just lucky? *Knock on wood* UPDATE 4/29/2022 Just thought to mention if you use a temper glass cover like I do, it could interfere (contact against the edges) with the glass and cause the glass to lift. For me I was using Whitedome glass and now the top edge is lifting. Next time I will install it slightly lower so it would be more center in the case. I'd recommend you to check the fitting before installing. Also I have had a few tumbles but the phone was protected. I currently have a couple dents on the right top and right bottom edges, but the phone is fine. Whew! ... show more

As I'm sure you're all aware, finding the right quality case for the Z Fold 3 is a daunting task. I've been pursuing cases that protect the hinge, which led me to this case. If this case does one thing we'll, it's the fit. I've had this case for about a month and it hasn't budged, even after I've dropped it a time or two. It does it's job, but it could be better. Like others, I originally noticed the middle magnets on the hinge did not clasp as tight as the outside two. However, I must be really fortunate, because after a couple of days or so, it cinched up nice. What really disappoints me though, is the materials of the case. It's plastic, and when I say it's plastic, I mean it's incredibly obviously plastic. Almost as if I could have printed this thing myself with my entry level 3d printer. The "finish" is matte, but realistically, there is no finish... it's just plastic. The most disappointing part of this, is that while it protects the phone well enough, I've already put three very wicked scratches in it without any real abuse. This may be specific to the grey case. But it's annoying nonetheless. All of this makes it challenging to recommend the case, but mainly just because it's quality does not match the price by any means. It also couldn't hurt to have a glass protector on the front cover, but that's far from a deal breaker for me, and it's not like they advertise having one. If it just held up a bit better to regular use, it would be well worth it, in my opinion. But as it is, it's hard to give it more than three stars. ... show more

Purchased the item, loved the case when it was received. I had the case 1 week and the pen holder had a piece break off in the middle when I laid the phone down. Called the vendor and she stated there was nothing she could do since I'd had the case longer than what is stated in her write up.

This is the first time I write a review of any product, I do it because I have to say that it is the best protector for the Fold 3 currently, it protects the hinge, it does not make the phone look bulky, it gives protection to the front and connects it with a magnet so that it does not get out of position, a very good idea. I have bought several of the supposed best cases and they are a disappointment, believe me, you will not regret it. This is the true all in one. ... show more
