  • Beautiful centerpiece
The media could not be loaded. The rocks for the bottom of the aquarium were provided. An interchangeable LED light that changes different colors would have been a nice added effect. The bottom is made out of plastic not glass so it's very lightweight. The top piece is glass. You must get submersible additional filters if you want more then just the one it comes with which is nice and quiet. Aside from the rocks I purchased all decorations on Amazon but the aquarium does come with brown and green decor ... show more

  • Great purchase, but be ready to make some changes.
This is a beautiful table! The blue gravel with the light shining through is very pretty and it does truly come with all you need to set it up adequately. As far as caring for this tank goes, yes it is easy to access tank for cleaning, but because the light is underneath you will have a lot of algae buildup on the bottom which if left unchecked will block much of the light. Now here are some suggestions for additional things/changes you might want to make to this: 1. More plants- comes with very few plastic plants and you may want a few more especially if you plan on putting fish in it. 2. Hiding places for fish- may want to purchase other decorations to function as hiding places if placing fish in here. Will make them much happier. 3. Heater- Most freshwater fish will probably need one at some time of the year to keep from freezing them. 4. Substrate- The gravel it comes with, while beautiful, does not lend well to keeping the tank clean. The gravel pieces very in size from tiny to large and it traps a lot of food and waste not allowing the filter to adequately do its job. It also greatly limits the animals you can safely house as many like to sift through substrate or have delicate body parts that can be damaged. 4. Lighting- If you do opt to change the substrate you will need a new light solution. 5. Filter- While it does come with a very nice filter, you may want to purchase a second one as the shape and location of the original may not be able to keep up with the bio-load of your fish very well. 6. Bubbler and Air Pump- Due to the length of this tank, there is very little water movement on the opposite side of the filter. Water movement vital to the fish for oxygen. Would not need this if putting in a second Filter. One more caution I would give is that the gaps for feeding and ventilation on the top of the tank are fully open and may allow fish to jump out. You can fill in these gaps(I used pool noodle pieces cut to size), but will have condensation on the table top which blocks your view of the aquarium. Guess what I’m trying to say here is that this table is awesome, and worth purchasing. Just keep in mind that you will probably want to spend more money on it if wanting to put animals in it, if nothing else but for their safety and happiness. ... show more

  • Absolutely Perfect!
I purchased this aquarium a month ago. It was easy to set up and it has been the life of the party every since. My fish are happy...and my entire family is happy with this purchase. Love it!

  • Fish tank
The tank itself is acrylic plastic not very good quality. For the money there are way better tanks for less money. Also with the rocks and lights they provide there isn't much light in the tank

  • Good in theory, but not for "real life"
Just look at the advertised picture of this table...beautiful, but once you get it home and set it up, far less enchanting! The glass top is super heavy, the space between the top of the tank and the glass top is too wide (I lost a few fish that escaped this way). I ended up having to modify the table by purchasing an acrylic top, drilling holes on the four corners to lower decrease the gap. Also, there is a condensation problem if you don't have the tank temp. almost excatly the same as the room temp. I definitely believe this is a big time waste of money and do not recommend this to anyone. If you are looking for a good tank, try the Nanocube, or one of the marineland eclipse tanks. They are good, reliable, easy to use. ... show more

  • Beautiful tank at night
Purchase this aquarium a couple of days ago and it arrived at my home extremely quick. Instructions of putting this aquarium together is very easy. The filter is very noisy and I had to remove it. I just have water in it for now... looking to buy some real life looking fish (if they exist and can float) since I do not want to bother with the upkeep of cleaning a fish tank ( had one before and it can be tedious). So far I love it especially at night with the glow of light under the tank. The bottom on the tank is not made from real glass ( thought it was) but the top is made from tempered glass (which is heavy by the way). I gave this item 4 stars because I wish it was taller, but others than that I have no complaints for now. ... show more
