Great kit with easy directions. I used my own pre-broken vintage pottery I had been saving for this very purpose. The kit only came with a handful of white gems and some blue brown a and yellow glass which will be saved for some other project. The mix set up as described and was ready to pop out of the mold (which broke as its flimsy) on day 2. I wish the mold was more sturdy so it could be used a second time, but I'm still happy with the outcome. Will order again! ... show more

Love these stepping stones. I make one every year for my husband on father's day with our kids' footprints. This one is large enough to fit a size 1.5 and toddler 10 foot. Every one of these has lasted and they age well. The first one from 5 years ago is still good as new and we do actually use it as a stepping stone to get to our water spigot. We keep them outside year round through cold winters and there has been no cracks or breaks. Tip: if you mix the cement too watery gently press a paper towel on top to soak up the excess water, it does not get goopy or stick to the cement. Repeat as needed. Also mix with a kitchen spoon or a gloved hand. The wooden stick is not durable enough. Try to minimize contact with skin because it will dry out your skin for days as well as cause chemical burns. ... show more

Did not like that the colors in the kit was not at all what was shown on the package. No bright colors at all. Three of us brought the same kit and all the colors were the same except one kit had only one small piece where the other two had just a few. Once the glass pieces placed there were places that the plastic tray cracked so no way ever reusing it. ... show more

Lovely item. Lots of potential for creative kids and adults, too. I think this is one of the more challenging forms to fill for kids because of the many different petals, versus the other flower forms with just five large petals. For this stone, we used the picture on the box to set up the design. (We also needed glass nippers that we had bought for another project. No nippers in this kit, but they're fairly cheap and fairly easy to find on the internet.) So far, we are really pleased with the results. ... show more

Product picture shows various shades of yellows, peaches, pinks and greens, including light colors. The bag contains orange, red white and blue chips. Some pieces are way too small for this project. You simply cannot fill this stone let alone with such bland colors. I’m so disappointed there’s no Pretty colors or more of a variety. The center stones are shown in multiples of the same color and in no way is there enough of any color to go more than three in a row. ... show more
