The media could not be loaded. “You get what you pay for.” It’s true, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. When you buy a $100 fixture you expect the tinted shade to be transparent and seamless and you expect the hardware to color match any exposed pieces. That’s not what you get with this, but the overall product for your buck is phenomenal. The shade is not seamless with its tinted coating. It’s got slightly darker areas, it’s hazy. The hazy finish is not intentional, it’s because of a lack of quality in w-e process they use to tint the shade. The hardware is not all black. You can clearly see the bulb mounts are all white plastic. It’s a shame. It should be black so it’s consistent with the metal base and all but it isn’t. All in all, it’s affordable and if coupled with a half chromed dimmable bulb it looks modern as hell, or mid century / bauhaus style. It’s a sexy light fixture either way. I recommend it. But it wouldn’t be a lot of trouble for the bulb mounts to be black!!!! Just saying ... show more
