I should start this review with a disclaimer that I've never been bitten by a radioactive spider, nor have I been exposed to a military gamma ray blast while accidentally traipsing through a bomb zone. I wanted to save more than a couple bucks on changing out my Honda Civic window trim since it rotted completely out (that's quality Honda :D) in a matter of 8 years. The trim costs about $40 a window... so about $160 to replace four simple things. I'm a handy guy as long as I have a YouTube video to teach me like the father I never had, so I saw that these puppies just pop right off with a little leverage. I didn't trust myself so I looked up the proper tools and saw this set. Man, I only needed the one tool, but imagine what kind of mayhem I could cause upon the auto maintenance industry by getting an entire SET!? So I get all the parts in and I grab this set of tools, feeling like a boss cuz I was about to handyman the DUFF out of that trim. I looked around, making sure there wasn't a crowd of swooning ladies gathered around to see me do my thing and saw only a sheisty looking squirrel stealing all of the seed from my bird feeder. Good enough for me, cuz I'm a boss. I walk around the vehicle a few times, circling my prey, and I grasp the plastic pulling out stuff thingie tool firmly in the soft side of my strong hand, baby powder trickling to the ground in slow motion like dandelion floatie things. I insert the tool confidently into the driver-side window and just start clinically mashing it around and randomly tugging on things. I see the trim budge a bit. It's working just as the YouTube sensei taught me! Well... almost. The tool snaps off in my hand and flies off into the driveway, an inaudible cry escaping my lips. I look at the broken half still grasped in my hand, a look sort of riddled with disgust and contempt at the tool's weakness compared to my own contrasting might. For a split second, I feel pride that IT broke before my will to fix that trim did. But I grabbed the next tool and began mashing it into the window trim again. It worked after about 10% tool use and 90% elbow grease. I think I could have gotten the same result with a handful of leaves because it just felt like I was muscling the window trim out with my bare hands while holding something plastic to sturdy my nerves and keep my five fingers close together. ... show more
