Don’t buy. I bought my surface barely 6 months ago. The screen had a slight defect and the battery charge did not last long at all but it was nothing I couldn't deal with. But suddenly it stopped charging. I bought a new cord to be sure. The light turns on on the cord indicating the cord works, but it won’t charge. (you can see the light on the cord yet no charging symbol on the battery icon) It might start charging for 15 minutes but then it stops again. I tried every troubleshooting thing I could find on the internet and nothing works. I contacted the seller for a refund but my 90 day warranty expired so they won’t give me anything back. I got this because I wanted a touch screen computer that was affordable and would work great with Fusion360 and minecraft lol it's awesome and I'd definitely recommend this computer to anyone looking for a good touch screen computer. Battery life is great. It's pretty much new and in new condition.

The screen had few white spots from the beginning. The battery life was poor from the beginning. Used to hold charge for over one hour, now it’s down to few minutes.

Paying a little more for the extra compute power is worth it. Device keeps up with my Dell G5 laptop. In addition, I opted for the extended four year warranty that covers drops and spills. I dislike that the keyboard and stylus are separate purchases. The keyboard is necessary in my opinion if you plan on doing any real work. The keyboard also adds a little protection for the large touch screen. ... show more

It does what I wanted it to do and I am happy with its portability. I have not found the perfect replacement laptop to fit my needs and wants. However, this does mostly what I would like it to do so over all happy with it.

The process was too complicated for the product to fail so soon. I didn't have any issues for the first few weeks, then the laptop would no longer hold any charge.
