Tried these out in place of my usual half face respirator with a N99 filter while mowing 4 acres in hope of something decently effective and more comfortable. These are not it. While not painful to wear in my experience, they are decently challenging to breath and more so than the 3M N99 filters on my respirator. Given how much they impacted airflow through my nose I anticipated them having caught the majority of the dust thrown up from mowing. So, disclaimer, I have NOT field tested these yet... But I will make the effort to update this review when I do! I purchased these after a particularly bad bout of asthma attacks & flare up of dermatitis after breathing in God knows what on a particular camping trip. As always (& I'm sure everyone here can relate), it was totally miserable & I vowed to find a solution that didn't include the dreaded bridge pinching N95!! Haha So far... I'm really hopeful! These are super comfortable, don't mess with my ability to breathe through my nose, & honestly don't look too bad at all! My nose looks a little wider, but obviously none of that matters if it allows me to avoid a mask while hiking! :) ... show more

Thank you. For some reason and I don’t know who remolded my building much before me living here. They put a return vent from the boiler in the middle of the bedroom is stupid. Even though I do sleep well but, during winter time. As the vent goes on during the winter months. I wake up sneezing and runny nose until I clean out my nose so I’ll stop sneezing and runny nose. As the day goes on. I don’t sneeze all day just in the mornings waking up. I have allergies from dust and mold. I had a stroke and I got cursed having heightened smell that makes me having nasal drip and it’s a hassle. The only problem is just in my bedroom in my vent goes on and the dust inside my vent irritates my nose. So I decided to try some products like this this one and makes it better for me waking up with no sneezing. It helped so much. I was very pleased with no sneezing every morning. Just wash them. I used it for welding so none of those fumes in my nose turning my mucus black. A tiny bit still went through, overall worked great. However part of the reason is the foam is a little too thick, hard to breathe with sometimes I caught myself breathing through my mouth, which is worse inhaling those fine directly to my lungs, instead having them get caught by the mucus itself. ... show more
