Description

The MICHELIN Road 5 tire offers superior wet weather grip versus leading competitors due to patented MICHELIN XST Evo siping and our latest 2CT and 2CT+ tread compounds. Even after 3,500 miles the MICHELIN Road 5 tire stop as well in wet conditions as a new MICHELIN Road 4 tire. Improved stability is provided by the use of MICHELIN ACT+ casing technology which reinforces the shoulder areas while leaving the crown area compliant for a more comfortable ride. • New rear tire
Great service and prompt delivery . Even boxed it up for protection... Tire handles very well after brake in.

  • Best tire for fz09/mt09
This tire is just amazing. I've put over 3000 miles on it already of street use and shows very little wear and I ride pretty aggressive . They have way more grip than the stock tire and feal great in the corners adding more confident riding. Would highly recommend this tire for any bike with alot of power..... just an update its 2023 now and I got every bit of ten thousand miles out of this tire with constant abuse and wheeling every chance I get . Now on to the road 6 but would still not hesitate to use the road 5 again. Just an excellent tire all around ... show more

  • Sticky, smooth, and reliable
I was tempted to say that these things don’t last very long. That I saw my mileage and realized that I put 12,000 miles on my back tire before I wore out the Sipes. These are THE tire

  • Great practical “sport” tire.
I commute on my bike often and ride canyon roads aggressively every weekend. This tire is good for both but not perfect for either with a slight emphasis on performance. You can definitely feel the difference between this and the supercorsa or the power gp but those tires don’t handle wet conditions and they definitely don’t get 8-10k miles. Overall it’s the only compromise I’ve been happy with having tried 4-5 different tires over the years. It lets me do what I want to do safely while being reasonably economical and time efficient (not swapping tires frequently). If you don’t ride in wet conditions at all and don’t mind changing tires every 2-4k miles buy something more aggressive. If you never ride track or canyons buy a touring tire. If you’re in between like me, buy this! ... show more

  • 10,800 miles
My yamaha tracer 900gt came with these tires, nearly new when I bought the bike used. I was shopping for new tires, then went back and checked the records and found out the mileage I had on these. Needless to say, I will just buy these again, can't ask for more from a tire.

  • Better than expected
I normally run perellie (prob misspelled)deablo tires for the tackyness on the road for cornering. But these have held up longer and have not once slipped on any solid roads or in any weather conditions. It's been more of my daily run around since installing, nor ride time but no long trips yet. I will be getting them again!! ... show more

  • Best streetbike tires on the market
Just finished an over 2000mi road trip through the Smokey Mountains, including some of the twistiest and best riding roads in the US. Tail of the dragon, Hellbender 28, the Cherohala Skyway, and many more. I can honestly say that I never once had anything less than 100% confidence in these tires. I've got a 2014 Fz-09, and I can also say that I've never leaned so far over to scrape footpegs on that bike until I rode on these tires. I also included about 100mi of unimproved surface roads, and they also performed as well as a street tire could on dirt and gravel. I squeezed about 10,000mi out of my Road 4s, and I'm expecting at least that on the Pilot Road 5s. Best tire on the market! ... show more
