  • Ordered for Yamaha Bolt r-spec 2014
This fit the Yamaha Bolt r-spec and it works well for me. I ride a lot of curvy mountain roads and these tires feel good and grip well. I had these in heavier rain a few times and I felt fine, of course I was being more cautious than usual but I believe these tires do better in the rain than my previous ones. So far I put about 2,000 miles on these tires and have not noticed significant wear. I can't say for sure but I am under the impression that these with last just as long or longer than the average tires. Installation wasn't too bad, I had to use tire weights. I also bought the front tire of this model and I noticed the death wobble went away. Before these, I had Bridgestone Exedras. It seems like those tires are stock and many Bolt riders complain of the wobble, so I am guessing the Bridgestone tires were too blame ... show more

  • Still the best tire for the money.
Perfect fit. Keep air pressure as the manufacture suggests. Great ride, like night and day last rear tire lasted me 60,000 miles.

  • Absolutely excellent tire
So I've been running this tire along with the Commander II front tire on my Yamaha Road Star 1600 for a few months now.. the bike had some old Dunlop D404s when I got it, and they made the bike feel really sketchy and slippery in the corners and on dirt/gravel.. I have to say these Michelin tires really gave the bike a totally different feel. Way more stable and nimble in all conditions.. be it dry roads, bumpy roads, wet roads, twisty mountain passes, interstates, dirt/gravel roads, you name it, these tires excel across the board in all situations you could think of.. I've put over 5000 miles on my set already, including a 1800 mile round trip to Yellowstone/Grand Teton and back and the tires still look brand new! No noticeable tread wear whatsoever which is pretty remarkable.. I don't really have any experience with other tires besides the D404s but I would say these are probably the best choice for motorcycle tires on the market. They're more expensive than a lot of other tires but I personally think they're worth every penny. ... show more

  • No balance mark on tire.
The tire I received did not have a clearly marked balance mark to show where the lightest side of the tire is to put by the air valve. This made the installation a bit more of trial and error than normal. Seems good quality but only have 100 miles on it.
