  • Honda wire harness adapters too simple to fail
Style: Harnesses
These will adapt most speakers with solder tabs to Honda wiring harnesses. Honda OEM speakers are factory equipped with connectors to speed assembly and assure phasing . The only precaution to take with aftermarket replacement speakers is to verify their phasing matches the ones being replaced. Verify every replacement speaker; it is not uncommon for them to be different within a package or from package to package. Phasing can be tested with a 1.5V battery. If the cone moves outward when the (+) is applied to one terminal, that terminal should be marked (+) and get the colored lead of the adapter. ... show more

  • All good up too the last one
Style: Harnesses
While I love that these quick connect speaker terminals are easy and less mess, the disappointment happened right at the end when the last speaker install had no sound. Good thing we did not reinstall the door panel. Took out the volt meter and tested the stock wires to see if the new deck had crapped out, but no, after testing the speaker, the speaker wire to the deck, it ended up being the actual quick connect terminal. No power through the wires. So while love the product I now have one useless part. It was not worth the time and effort to pull out one of the doors to pack up the pair and send back. That is the real let down with this product, that I would expect to work right out of the package. ... show more

  • Absolutely required if you work on a Honda
Style: Harnesses
Talk about a life saver ! Plugged in the new JBL rear speakers in my 2013 Honda Accord, and I was in business. This could hardly be simpler, unless they include someone in the package to do it for you (shipping might be extra). Given how tight the working space is in the trunk, there was no point in trying to solder anything, this is definitely the way to go. Highly recommended ! Just one quick recommendation: since the instructions are printed on the package, do not tear it apart like I did but take a moment to see which wire is the positive one. ... show more

  • Right on Time!!
Style: Harnesses
The delivery driver couldn’t have been more on time even if he tried. He arrived just as I took off the speaker on my 2004 Honda Accord. Prior to his arrival I thought oh gosh, guess I’ll have to use these wire cutter but no… my knight (LOL) arrived with these babies. Install was quick and easy. There was a size difference in the connections so there was no guess work. Bigger piece went on the bigger end. Smaller piece on the smaller end. I then proceeded to connect the female connector to the car and the negative cable back to the battery. Now I have sharp crisp sound. Yay!!! These cables were a life saver!! Purchasing again for the back speakers. Can’t wait!! ... show more

  • Honda Element Perfection
Style: Harnesses
I needed to hook up some aftermarket Boss speakers that I bought here on Amazon. These adapters worked great for my 2009 Honda Element, and kept me from having to cut any of my original wiring. What was also helpful was that the terminal ends on the wires that you hook up to the speakers one was smaller and one was larger so I didn't have to guess which wire to hook up to each speaker terminal. I am very happy to have found these no regrets at all. ... show more

  • Does the job but make sure leads aren't too tight
Style: Harnesses
These work fine. Just make sure the leads that accept your speaker clips aren't too tight. Mine were so tight it broke the speaker lead right off my 6x9 speaker because it took such force to insert it. These are supposed to be a little more than snug when you insert the speaker clips, it's not supposed to be so tight that you need vice grips. You can open them up a bit with a screwdriver carefully also. Otherwise 5 stars ... show more

  • An Exact Replacement.
Style: Harnesses
In 2014 these connectors were included with my Pioneer DVD Stereo Head unit. A few months ago, I noticed that my front door speakers began to cut out. I inspected the terminals, and they appeared to have some corrosion on them. I used WD-40 to remove the build up. In reviewing the wiring, and the housing, I thought it would be a good idea just to replace the harnesses. This time, I lightly applied WD40 to the new terminals to repel moisture. I was fortunate to find an exact replacement. Thank you Amazon. ... show more

  • Connectors does not fit to speakers
Style: Harnesses
I used this on Kicker CS speakers. On the speaker terminal ends, they could not fit into both my old and new speakers. I had to use a flathead screwdriver to jam it open more so that I can get a "lock" in feel into the terminals. The other end of the connection fits a little too snug. Hopefully I can remove it in the future for future speaker replacements. ... show more
