It's a budget alternative to the Apple Pencil, designed to offer a reliable drawing and note-taking experience for iPad users. For basic drawing and note-taking, the Metapen A11 is surprisingly responsive. It has good pressure sensitivity and palm rejection, which makes it comfortable for sketching or writing. My plan was to use this pencil all through nursing school. I hav who clue what happened, the battery shouldn’t be fried, I haven’t dropped it, and I keep it charged consistently. The lag that I experienced with it was always when I was doing some important assignments, so that was a big downfall. When I was in class during a lecture and taking notes, it turned off and wouldn’t turn back on even when holding the button down, fiddling with the settings in my iPad to disconnect and connect again, turning my iPad off and back on. It never turned on again and is now completely useless. Overall it was okay when it did work, though the lag was terrible. Overall I’m not very impressed with it. ... show more

Ordered this as a gift. When I received it all I got was a pen in a plastic bag. Had no idea how to use it. Thought it was odd how it arrived so contacted Metapen.
