It is built like a rock, had great instructions and was easy to put together; only took him an hour and a half. The vendor also shipped it UPS which was a treat as we’ve been having a lot of trouble with FedEx recently. I ordered a Yahee…whatever brand then cancelled it because the footboard was too high and my husband’s feet hang off the bed when he stretches out. The Yahee…vendor was awful and shipped it the day after I cancelled it! I can’t say enough good stuff about this bed…price, quality, vendor, everything was impressive. So I have 2 twin xls (with adjustable frames) in this room. So I had already planned on not using the slats for the mattress so sit on. I figured this would be like all my other bedframes that have adjustable beds and just drop in them no problems. Not the case. I ended up having to grind the braces the slates drop into off and drilling new holes and using my own nuts and bolts at attach the side rails to the head and footboard on one side (sp did it on the side where the wall is so it's not as noticeable) and it was too narrow to go around the bed even after cutting the braces off. For this just being a spare room that's rarely used, I didn't want to pay the price tag of my other bed frames. They work fine and if I wouldn't have the adjustable bed frame then I'm sure I wouldn't have to modify it. Took one star off due to not friendly with adjustable beds. One thing I did love was the height for underbed storage. I also like the overall ease to put together and quality to the bedframe metal/paint job. ... show more

There is no squeak. There are a lot of parts that come with it, none were missing. The screws were easy to decipher and the holes were easy to find. The size is perfect for my room. The sturdiness helps with the comfort of my mattress.

I'm very happy with this purchase. The pictoral assembly instructions were easy to follow and it went together without any issues. Assembly is easier with two people, but one person could do it (I've assembled platform beds before by myself). If you're considering a platform bed, be aware that because it doesn't sit atop a box spring, mattresses tend to slide somewhat. I specifically selected this bed because it has a raised footboard that helps keep the mattress from sliding off the end of the frame. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. The first impressions of the frame and color looked good and I was excited to assemble and use this bed. However, shortly into the build I noticed the quality issues (screwing in) with the railings attaching to the headboard and footboard. The screws would just not hold the aesthetic railings in place as the holes in the railings (poles) were too large and/or were missing parts to keep the headboard and footboard intact and in place when screwed in. The issue described above is captured in photos and video. This quality issue made the whole process of assembling this bed frustrating, unsafe and unusable. Amazon helped resolve the issue but double thumbs down for this bed. Would have definitely given this bed a 4 or 5 star if quality control was taken care by manufacturer/seller. ... show more
