Each segment is sturdy, thick, and well made. Two feet in width is to me a good size to work with. The fences that are four to five feet segments to me are more difficult to work with, because the length will either be too short or too long. For the price it is a great value. I really like this fence, it works well as a barrier for dogs (though dogs can still jump 2 feet). It is easy to install, stays put, looks nice. My complaint is it comes in 10ft segments which is almost nothing if you're working with a garden (and I don't have a big garden). It would be nice if you could select how many segments you wanted. ... show more

I have ordered so much self-install fencing this last year, all to successfully keep my lab/mix puppy from tearing up my garden beds. This is, without doubt, one of the best. The iron is really heavy duty and covered in a nice, glossy, thick paint. The design is reminiscent of fencing around English church yards and the metal rods are long, have good pointed ends, and install through the side loops of the panels in seconds.
