Great time saver. High quality. Well worth the money especially if you are doing multiple doors. Used to update all my kitchen cabinets. Hook it up to shop vac to help control the sawdust. Pieces are very well fitted so once it’s set up it makes it easy to get same precision over and over again

This little jig takes a bit to get set up for the project, but once you have it dialed in you can drill the cup holes with confidence. The clamp allows you to lock it down so there is no slipping. It’s a little hassle to switch drill plates, but once you blow all the wood chips away it comes out. It’s a weighty jig made of aluminum and metal so it feels solid .     • Don't put hinges on without this!
We are repainting our kitchen and replacing all the hinges with new soft close full face hinges. I just completed drilling 15 out of 25 doors with this hinge jig. I could not be happier. It is easy to do with amazing results. There is no way I would tackle this job without this jig. Make sure to have a vacuum running while drilling the 35mm holes otherwise the wood shavings will make it very difficult to remove the drill adapter out so you can do your next hole, with a vacuum it's amazing. The media could not be loaded. I can’t find something I dislike about this jig! The adapters fit smooth as silk. The clamp is on a pivot joint so it can angle to various door front shapes. The bit is making these holes for these cabinet hinges, super clean and uniform. I like that I don’t need alextra clamps to secure it. IT’S STURDY. Also - it’s made of metal unlike the Kreg competition. I’m seriously making cabinet doors and I thought this was going to be the hardest part of the project, but it’s been the easiest! ... show more

    • This should have been in my life 20 years ago!
Works great and makes boring hinge holes a breeze. Over they years I've made probably 100 plus doors with euro hinges. While I don't make a lot at once normally so I've always fiddled with setting up the drill press with fences and depth stops. It works but it's a lot of trial and error until ya get it just right and it's time consuming. I had a full kitchen build with 50+ doors to do so I bought this jig as a test. I figured if it worked great, but if not it could go back. Boy, this thing should have been in my life 20 years ago! I bored all those doors in short order and almost no setup time. I have used this well constructed jig to place many cabinet hinges. Its is very easy to use and extremely accurate. I particularly like the fact that it has a built in clamp and does not require always having one on hand. I recommend this jig.

This jig is well made, easy to assemble and easy to use. Instructions were adequate. The bracket intended to hold a vacuum didn't fit my vacuum so I just clamped the nozzle of my shop vac next to it. You DO need to vacuum the chips, otherwise they interfere with removing the forstner bit drill fixture. The included drill bit for the screw holes was so long I was afraid of drilling through the door front, so I used a shorter bit that I already had. Overall, a pretty good tool and I'm glad I bought it. I got it for a project which was the first time I used concealed hinges and the results were very good. ... show more
