    • Excellent clothing rack!
I like using these racks around my house to make up for the lack of closet space and to accommodate the wardrobe storage needs of five people. This rack is one of the better ones that I have come across, and I'm happy with it. The pieces came in a very sturdy container and were all zip tied with large, thick ties to prevent jostling and damage. Each piece was well secured, cushioned, and everything was seen to be in perfect condition when assembling this rack. The instructions are very clear and easy to follow, and assembly was quite simple. I only needed a mallet to make the racks sit snug around the pole clips to prevent wobbling, and the included wrench for tightening the wheels. The wheels roll smoothly and easily, and I only had one small issue with getting them to lock. At first one of the locks was a little sticky and didn't want to engage, but after messing with it for a bit the lock worked and keeps the rack from trundling off when moved. This rack has plenty of height to it, and would have no problems hanging long dresses and keeping the hems from getting wrinkled with careful configuration of the shelves and hanger pole. The rack is quite sturdy and can hold quite a lot of clothing, and keeps the items neatly organized. This rack would also be great for hang drying clothes, or possibly used in a garage or shed for tool storage and corralling extension cords. I'm quite pleased with this clothing rack, and immediately put it to use for needed storage around my home.     • Nice and Simple Clothing/Shoe Rack
ITEM: ZERDER Metal Clothing Rack PROS: - The rack is incredibly lightweight and easy to assemble. I was actually pretty impressed by how well it went together. - You can select your own heights for the shelves for a nice touch of customization. NEUTRALS: - It’s slightly thinner than you would expect (all around in terms of the metal thickness) from the images. - It is not the most stable; I would trust it with small children or very heavy activity. CONS: - While it comes with two locking wheels, neither of mine are actually functional. Which is an issue because… - It rolls TOO easily; moving even with slight touch. I’m probably just going to remove the wheels entirely. PACKAGING/GIFTABILITY: (All of my packages are sent with Prime Delivery Day and manufacturer’s packaging preference selected. This may impact how things are shipped and cause my packaging experience to differ from yours.) It was sent in Amazon shipping packaging - an extra large cardboard box in my case. It appears that the plain cardboard manufacturer’s packaging was split when it was packed, as all pieces were loose in the box. Despite the small issue with mine, I find it directly giftable with gift wrap being optional. WOULD I PURCHASE?: Yes. I find it to be a better option than most being that it’s nearly entirely metal (the only thing that isn’t is the shelf clips that hold up the shelves). At $89.99 (at the time of writing) I find it okay, but find that there’s better looking options out there for less - but the asking price is comparable to most on the market. CONCLUSION: This is actually a pretty nice shoe/clothing rack. Big bonus points for being entirely metal and easy assembly. It is really lightweight. The wheels roll almost too easily though and I find that it displaces quite a bit, and the locking wheels don’t function on mine. Overall I’m happy with it though, as it made our garage entry much more organized. It’s made from powder coated, thickened carbon steel. It’s also waterproof for the laundry room or humid environments. It’s a three tier clothing rack with one hanging rod which is configurable to your liking. It came with everything needed for assembly and clear and concise instructions. It was very easily assembled. NOTE : As with all assembled furniture please wait until your project is complete to tighten up all the screws. I’m using mine in the laundry room. I have this in my laundry for my winter coats and this is such a solid coat rack. I like that it has shelving on the top and bottom which I do store platters and such under and over. This has has hooks on the sides so if you want to hang hoodies you can. Set up took about less than an hour and my 16 year old son did this. Very sturdy. ... show more
