AD/DC voltage readings are very accurate, comparing with my lab-grade meters. Capacitance is -1% from my Fluke 117 - that's good. Ive always used multimeter to test voltage ac and dc, probably more dc to test batteries if they are good and if they are charging when engine is started. But here lately i been having surging in house and i was using regular meter and found main problem it was vaporizor causing volts to surge but i wasnt able to test amps. this test amps, temp, and everything else a reg multimeter shows plus has a no contact tester on it to show if line has electricity without touching it, i use those alot to before i mess with any electric lines even if i know its off i still use that to make sure. its easy to use all in one device. just read instructions on what buttons to push and wasnt that expensive ... show more

This appears to be a well designed and built unit with many features found in higher-end multimeters. The operator interface is well thought out. I was able to figure it all out, then read the manual to confirm the operation. (OK, so I learned a couple of extra features by reading the manual). I can't speak to accuracy yet, as I have not run any comparison tests, but the specs look good and should be quite adequate for normal (non-lab) use. I can't wait to get out to the off-grid cabin to check out the solar panels in the array to make sure they are all performing up to expectations. ... show more
