  • Best shoes I've EVER owned
Color: Black/Red Size: 14
I have massive feet. Imagine Shrek, shoe shopping, in the human village, but looking for ogre shoe sizes ;and that's about the best analogy for my plight with shoes. When I do find shoes in my size, they're rarely comfortable, have any version of arch support, and rarely do they have the aesthetics that I'm looking for. How I have missed out on Merrell shoes, all of these years, is beyond me. I was so impressed with this pair, that I went out and bought another pair of Merrell hiking shoes, the Accentor and they're just as wonderful. These all out blaze, looking stunning. They're very well made, extremely comfortable, to the point that other than having amazing foot support, they feel like invisible shoes, because it feels virtually weightless, like they aren't there. They're extremely tough, durable, and the mesh design makes your feet feel like there's always an AC turned on.i profusely sweat in all other shoes and not a single time had that occurred in these. They look great with my jeans, shorts, dressier attire, I can really use them for anything, but they excel in the woods, around rivers, hiking rocky outcrops.i haven't slipped or felt like I'm on uneven footing a single time. I don't get leg fatigue nearly as much as I used to either, that's the case with both these and the Accentor as well. Merrell is my new go to brand. I've never owned a more comfortable pair of shoes, that are made so ridiculously well. They'll be getting all of my money for shoes from now on. If you're on the fence about these shoes, don't be. They'll work for any occasion, go with any clothing, and you'll feel like your feet are being pampered, the entire time that you're wearing them. ... show more

  • My favorite Shoe
Color: Dusty Olive Size: 10
I have several pair of Merrell boots and shoes. This is one of the lightest and most breathable shoes. I was concerned with the comfortability and support, but it’s as comfortable as my Brooks shoe and other Merrell shoes. I have tested it on some small trails, but have not truly water tested it. It dries fairly quick and despite having a lot of mesh parts for dryness it manages to keep out a lot of debris. This shoe also looks incredible and is easy to slide on and off. It is my go to shoe, and I prefer it to hike in over my MOAB 2. It did get loose after running a mile and my feet got somewhat blistered. However, it was due to me not tightening it. The shoe is extra roomy but not too big that I needed a different size. That is partially what contributed to the blister along with it becoming loose while running. The only thing that beats it in comfort and back support is my Brooks Ghost, however for an overall shoe this is my current favorite pair. ... show more

  • Comfortable right away
Color: Blue Wing Size: 11
These Merrill water shoes are perfect! Super comfortable from the start. They have a perfect arch and just the right amount of cushion in the sole (not a lot). Cool to wear in hot weather and they dry out reasonably quick if you get them wet. They have a high grip sole and have plenty of room in the toe area. I got a size 11 medium, which is what I usually wear; they may be slightly long, but not enough to size down. ... show more

  • Shoes are great
Color: Dusty Olive Size: 9.5
Bought these shoe for a hiking trip to Nicaragua. Because of the heat I figure these would be great for hiking and quick drying. Overall these shoes are comfortable, light weight and quick drying. The one concern I had was on a waterfall hike they did slip a little due to the moss on some rocks but Im not sure there is a shoe made that wouldn't. I would definitely buy these again. ... show more

  • Excellent for river sports
Color: Black Size: 9.5
These shoes are awesome for water sports. I loved wearing these on the river. Your toes and feet feel very secure and protected from a minimalist shoe. They’re comfortable and burly enough for hiking and stomping around in the river or creek. I’d gladly buy another a pair

  • great
Color: Black/Red Size: 10
great i got a different color , i though i might have to size up by a half , these gray ones felt a bit tight . the black ones i got to replace were the same size and fit perfect , not sure the reason . over all great shoes works for casual hiking or around town walking or yard work what ever u might want to do . i kind of love them . a little pricy , and not really great for hiking where you have to clime or run but casual walking on concrete or on some trails they are great . very comfortable and study , at least out of the box and look great ... show more

  • Exceeding expectations so far.
Color: Black/Red Size: 10.5
I've been wanting a pair of light hiking shoes that can also double as water shoes, being that I do light hikes a few times a year and typically take a trip to current river yearly and get tired of the flimsy water shoes that last one use then get thrown away because they're all tore up. I bought a pair of Merino wool socks to accompany these and think I'll buy a couple more pair after having tried the first. I am just breaking these in at the moment and they almost already feel as if they don't need anymore break-in. I will say these are probably not built for steep hill climbing as there isn't any ankle support but should work great on rough terrain. The mesh lets them breathe very well, which is what an experienced hiker told me to look for and the reasoning for getting the wool socks. The socks felt great in them. The soles are very rugged and super grippy yet very flexible to the foots natural motion. So far, I've put a few miles in them on the treadmill and been running around outside my house doing outside work. They feel great to my feet. I wear anywhere from a 10.5 to an 11 depending on the shoe and usually like my shoes a little wide. I bought these in a 10.5 and they fit excellent. Snug to my foot with socks on but not tight at all to where they're bothersome. I can say they've worked out great while breaking them in and can't wait to wear them on some expeditions. If you don't hear an update from me, it's because I love the shoes and have nothing more to say. If I run into a problem with them, I'll leave an update. ... show more
