It was 3 building and one reading instructions. You need to read and follow instructions precisely. One wrong step and you have to Take apart a whole section. Took us half the day but we got it done in a day. All the pieces were there. Really like the bunk bed.

Very impressed with the quality of these bunk beds! I probably over researched before this purchase, but after a negative experience purchasing another brand first and having to return it, I was nervous to try again. These didn’t disappoint! The packing was done so well (like, made a mama feel happy at how orderly it was haha), and the Labels were clear on each set of pieces. It is important to note to other buyers: #1: it took my boys and I all day to put these together. To be expected with something so large and involving so many pieces. #2: posts #4 were mislabeled, but just use common sense and go by the pictures in the instructions. #3: (MOST important!) Pay CLOSE attention to where the holes are for the ladder when you assemble the bottom beds!!! We had to undo them and turn them around when we were close to finishing. Probably why it took us all day. I’m so happy with the quality, appearance, price, and STORAGE underneath! Worth every bit of 5 stars! ... show more
