Started wearing compression socks due to being on my feet for extended periods for work. I often wear work boots and prefer socks with light cushion (hiking socks). Most compression socks I’ve found are thin and don’t have any cushion in the bottom. I ordered these due to the description that they have cushion. I really like these socks. I wear size 9 shoes so ordered size large according to the chart. Out of the box they looked too small but stretched to fit when put on. The length is too long for me, running all the way to the knee joint where they irritate me when flexing. They fit quite snug but not uncomfortably so as long as you’re walking about and active, but start feeling quite uncomfortably tight if you lie down to relax. I wore them to bed and woke up in the middle of the night feeling like my legs were the last bit of toothpaste you’re trying to squeeze out of a nearly empty tube. I’m a fairly skinny guy so I can’t imagine what someone with normal or thick legs would feel. I felt great relief after taking them off. The thickness was good(not too thick) and they are warm. If you aren’t irritated by having tight socks all the way up to the knee you could give them a try but I’d suggest sizing up. I sent them back. ... show more
