Start off by washing and cleaning your car with the Menzerna Control Cleaner. Start polishing your car in criss-cross motions with the HCC 400 compound and wipe off any residue with a microfiber cloth. Follow up with our Step 4 Finishing polish to seal the deal. You can see the final results after 20 to 30 minutes of drying time. Combine different density foam pads for the best results possible.Glossy shine in 4 simple stepsThe Menzerna polishing program is designed to make buffing and polishing your car as easy as possible. This is one of the best detailing products on the market. Ive used it on my car and also gelcoat boat. It removes swirls and leaves a nice shine which comes up incredible with a good wax. It is excellent. It’s easy to apply and buff off also. My only negative comment is that it is not a “heavy cut” compound and is definitely nowhere near a 400 grit (as stated on the label). It is more of a light oxidation and swirl remover polish. If you have heavy oxidation this is not what you want as a “heavy” cutter. There are other heavy cut compounds out there for that. This stuff goes on easy (random orbital polisher) and comes off easy too. Use the recommended red pad that Menzerna also sells but get a few pads to get you through the entire vehicle.

This is one of my most frequently used products when removing scratches, swirl marks, oxidation, etc. The consistency of it is perfect for any painted surface. It finishes clear, wipes off easily and is one of the best products made for paint corrections. Very important to prep surface with clay bar and use the appropriate pad for the surface u are working on..every paint job is different, but I've used this product on every paint job imaginable with flawless results. ... show more

My little princesses thought she will help washing my Harley while i went to the rest room and use a dropped wash clothe with dirt. Ended up scratching the whole front fairing. I tried some other expensive scratch/swirl remover, but this menzerna 400 compound. Wow, The scratches are gone. Follow up with the Menzerna 3800 finish compound. Im very impress. This is my go to polish every time. Best results are with a power buffer. I’m using a griots DA and love it. Great for removing scratches or for polishing dull neglected paint. As far as polishes go, I only use Menzerna products and JesCar wax as the last step
