The soap pump is a good size and looks great in my kitchen! The stainless top shows fingerprints (which are often dirty) and the output of soap is small. Wouldn't order another one.

Looks good but does not dispense well even tried different viscosities of soap - need to plunge 10 times and sometimes it dispenses and sometimes not - I have two of these that both function badly so cannot put it down to bad luck - would not buy this product

I bought two of these (one black, one white) 3-4 years ago. They look great, although it becomes a pain to have to repeatedly wipe off the fingerprint marks from the chrome top. But more importantly, they both developed the same defect within a year of each other -- soap stopped coming out through the nozzle and filling the inside of the metal casing. Took both apart and cleaned thoroughly but the problem persisted. Ended up replacing both and they are quite expensive. Menu customer service were not helpful and told me they would pass the information along to their design team (yeah, right!). ... show more

I was looking for something stylish for on my kitchen island as it sits in the middle of my apartment in plain view of the entire first floor. Disappointed at the quality of this. It has a rigid sleeve that a cheap pump floats on top of. The rigid sleeve is quality, and has anesthetic value, however the pump mechanism is cheap-feeling and flimsy. Honestly, it is never stated, but I was assuming the pump to be a touch activated electric pump because the description says something like the soap is dispensed by "a touch of the stainless steel top", but it is not. It is a standard manual pump that functions exactly the same as a gas station soap dispenser. I would have expected anything produced by Menu to be of almost heirloom quality, even a soap pump (no matter how dumb that sounds). I regret this purchase. I'm probably going to move it upstairs in the guest bath where I'll never have to see it. ... show more
