Now, the caveats: - It runs a little small, so I advise going up a size from your standard. - The bottoms are absurdly high waisted and essentially double as a boneless underbust corset for men. If, on the other hand, a company wants to make a walking billboard or NASCAR speedster out of me, they ought to be paying me in sponsorship. The fact that the images didn't show these tastelessly prominent logos is disingenuous and bad practice. I suppose they're counting on us being too desperately cold to argue or send a return? Regardless, all this tomfoolery is ultimately tucked under other layers of clothing, out of sight and out of mind. That you're girdled to the bust and advertising as you peel off your layers in a state of undress - that's just between your conscience and the snickering of loved ones. At the end of the day, it was cold and he couldn't abide another day of being frozen solid, so he made do and has since come around to being very fond of them. If you're expecting Under Armor Cold Gear, you will be disappointed but for the price, these are great. I'm 6'7" 235 lbs 36-inch waist and got XXL - they are a bit loose but acceptable. They have a nice soft fleecy feel on the inside, almost like flannel PJs. I've run in these, I've hiked in these both in varying degrees of cold weather, they do what they say they do, they keep you warm and wick away moisture when you sweat. These are an excellent base layer. For a quarter of the price of UA, these are a great bargain. I've washed them 9-10 times and they are holding up nicely. ... show more

Bought extra large - I usually wear large. Bottoms fit okay. Top was way too tight for comfort. I am not a fat guy but have big shoulders and chest. If you are similar - bump up two sizes. Might help if bottoms and tops could be different sizes.

They are warm as claimed. Pants a bit oversized in the crotch...you have to hike them up to your ribs to allow more freedom of movement. Some high wear areas started to pill after a few wearings. Dont like high crew neck. Fine overall if you just want warmth and comfort-you wont win any complements fashionwise. ... show more

I spend a good portion of my time traveling, and more often than I would like to cold places. I specifically purchased these thermals prior to a trip to Montana when I knew I would be headed to an outdoor project during near freezing temperatures. These thermals worked great, and I was very comfortable the entire time. The best news was they are very comfortable to wear and work in, which isn't usually the case with cold weather clothing. I don’t really have much to say towards the negative about this. The only thing is the top doesn’t have anyway of telling you what is front or back. They really do keep you warm though. I wear them under my hunting clothes.

Very good quality for the money. I like to run in the summer, but I’m not a marathoner or anything and wanted to ease myself into fall/winter running - so I was hesitant to try some of the more expensive products like smartwool. Keeps me warm as a base layer when running in cold weather (but I haven’t tried it out in sub 32 degree F weather) ... show more
