The charge cable the PS5 comes with was far too short, so I was in the market for a longer one. This had a cable with a great 16ft length and the price was right, so I picked one up. And, for the most part, it worked just fine. I prefer playing with my controllers wired since the DualSense's battery life is awful, so I kept it hooked up all the time. Part of the cable frayed near the top, a little strand of it always poking out. And then today when I turned my system on, the charge cable wasn't being detected at all. It was completely dead. I guess better that it happens before the holiday rush, but it's still annoying having to set aside more money for something that should, by all rights, last years without any major concerns. Definitely won't be purchasing another one, I'll take my business elsewhere in hopes of finding a charge cable that doesn't go kaput in under half a year. ... show more

i bought this thinking it would be great as it is long in length to charge my controller when it dies while gaming until I'm done. When I plugged it in to charge my controller it doesn't work. The quality seems to be nice but it doesn't charge the controller and that's what I bought it for.
