I was skeptical about buying this jacket/parka because in the past, I found jackets made of polyester did not keep me warm enough. When I tried on this coat, I found that it fit well (despite its XL / foreign size (I typically wear medium sized (USA) coats). It kept me reasonably warm while wearing multiple layers of clothes. The inner plush lining was soft, smooth, and pleasant to the touch. I tend to get / feel cold rather easily, so it was nice to know that this coat would keep me warm if temperatures fell in the low 40F's and below. I purchased this jacket with a very specific vision in mind: a triumphant run for the University of Miami, culminating in a victory over Syracuse, a trip to the ACC Championship game in North Carolina, and me, proudly wearing my new jacket. Unfortunately, reality didn't quite align with my aspirations. Miami didn't secure the win, the championship game trip never materialized, and consequently, my shiny new jacket has remained untouched, hanging forlornly in my closet. The irony isn't lost on me. Florida's typical balmy weather hasn't exactly called for heavy outerwear. However, considering the recent dip in temperatures and the increasingly frigid evenings we've been experiencing, I might just have to break down and debut my jacket sooner than expected. For now, though, it remains an unused symbol of a hoped-for victory.
