I use these shorts for recumbent cycling. (Normal cycling shorts have pads for the crotch, which are not needed on a recumbent and often chafe. Shorts specifically made for recumbent riding are rare, and are always black, which is hot in Florida summers.) I've received positive comments on the shorts. Especially the camo design in highly non-camo colors. For me, the fit is slightly odd. They fit well on my hips and upper thighs, and stretch enough for my aging waistline. But at the low point, which is almost down to my knee, they are loose, just barely loose but not snug. I wish they were simply two or three inches shorter, as there's no need for this length on a recumbent. ... show more

I normally would be an XL in underwear and compression shorts. Have an XL in Under Armour. These are WAY too big. The XL is more like a XXXL or XXL. Returned for a Large and those are also way too big! Legs are 2-3 inches wider than the UA ones. Too much room in the crotch and too long on the leg. I was going to try a medium but I am 6-5. 220lbs and I haven't worn a medium since 9th grade. Bizarre sizing. The material and pattern were perfect sizing was just way off ... show more
