Ordered this for skiing and snowboarding in Colorado. Out of the package you can tell that you're getting a pretty good quality jacket considering the reasonable price on this. I can't really speak to the waterproof abilities yet on this, I can say that the fleece lining is a bonus when it comes to retaining body heat though. Convenient features are the ample zip pockets, removable hood and cuffed sleeves. All snaps work well and none of them were too loose to stay secured once snapped.
