I wanted some nice looking casual shoes to wear on an upcoming trip which I will be walking quite a bit. Sneakers weren't really the look I wanted to go with jeans and a polo or a button-up, and dress shoes were too stuffy. These were the perfect balance of looks and comfort. I am always skeptical of buying something online without trying it on first but for the price and knowing I could simply return them, these seemed like a viable option. They arrived quickly (next day) and as soon as I put them on I knew I'd made the right choice. The variety of colors is pretty great too which makes me want a couple more pair. I've bought several of these fabric semi-dress/ semi-casual men's shoes. All are comfortable as are these. What I like most about this pair is that the material is grey-on-grey whereas most others had contrasting heel area of tan or brown. This is a nicer continuous look. These work shoes look nice and seem well-made, but I had trouble with the fit. Despite ordering half a size larger than my usual size, they still felt very tight on my feet. This was disappointing because I had hoped the extra room would solve the issue. The material feels sturdy and durable, which is great for work environments, but the tight fit made them uncomfortable to wear for long periods. I tried wearing them around the house to break them in, but they remained snug. On the positive side, the design is sleek and professional, and they seem like they would provide good support if they fit properly. I like the look, style, and feel of the shoes however, they run small and are not true to size. I ordered a size 10 but the shoe fits like a 9.5. So I don’t think they’re using a U.S. based standard for shoe sizes. I’m going to return them and get a 10.5 instead. I’ll update the review once I receive. UPDATE: So I exchange the size 10 to a size 10.5 and while the length fits the width is too wide. I really wanted to like these shoes but they are using a European shoe standards not U.S. I will be sending them back for a refund. ... show more
