The 49.3mm case is expertly crafted from resin and aluminum, a lighter weight model that still maintains the G-Shock's iconic shock resistant toughness. With new Bluetooth(R) capabilities, this watch can link to a smartphone's GPS allowing for distance measurements. Specific workout functions include a step tracker, stop watch, interval timer, lap time measurement, and calories burned measurement. Using a combination of these functions and innovative apps allows you to track your running pace and develop your own, personal training plan. For easy visibility, the display is comprised of a high-definition MIP LCD and the Super Illuminator face maintains that visibility, even in the dark. The white polyurethane band and blue accents on the face will coordinate well with your workout gear. I did replace the battery in the 18th month, so that was a surprise. I only have it for time, not the other bells & whistles. Cost $15 to replace at the jeweler, worth it. Everyone loves this watch. I really like it.

I have had good luck with Casio digital watches over a number of years, but this was a more sophisticated watch with fitness functions. It was difficult to read and not intuitive to use. For some the details it provide may be a great deal, but I have a need for simple, fast results. Time, steps and distance should be most easily accessed and I did not find this easy on this device. ... show more

    • Great watch, except...
...the Move app doesn't work at all. One of my favorite GShock models, and I have over a dozen. I wore it nonstop when I got it summer '21. Always in the pool. Great for laps, and the *vibration feature is absolutely essential to me (also, no beeps under water). I don't use the bluetooth features because of the Move app. However, that doesn't matter to me and I get better battery life without it. Also, to the person (Patrick) who said that after 1 yr and 3 months they were having problems... well, the problem they describe and the length of time may simply mean they need to replace the battery. It's a 2 year battery but take into account it could have sat on a shelf for a while before it arrived at your door. Add to that, power drain from bluetooth notifications, etc., and it's reasonable to expect the battery life will be significantly less than 2 years depending on those usage factors. ... show more

    • Love the look, but the features are not up to par for price.
The step tracker counts while driving. Sence I drive alot. White band holds everything. Other then those 2 thing watch is great.

i really liked this gshock watch but after going through the specs,i think it could have been better. First i must say i love it's size,it is also easy to see at night with the luminox light which is mainly effective at night.the strap is great with good flexibility.The things that could be better are pairing with your mobile phone.available watch band replacement and accessing it's features could be more simple.Other than that gshock is still up there with the best of them. ... show more
