  • Did the job
Color: Pink
It's not the highest quality, but it's worth the price and got the job done. I bought some DashingDiva gel stickers and didn't read that I needed the lamp until I got home. I ordered this, and it showed up the next day. It's cute and works!

  • Wow!!! Extremely impressed! especially for the value.
Color: White
I got this a couple days ago. Wouldn't have bought it but it was at such a great price. I was so excited waiting for its arrival (which was fast being a Prime product). First off, the packaging was amazing. It is put in such a nicely designed box made especially for it (and I don't even mean the box shipped from Amazon). There is a thick protective sheet covering the underneath as Ive shown in the picture. It's blue. Not so easy to peel off. When you look at the underside you think, is this really going to do the trick? Will it cure like it's supposed to? Well be careful when you turn this baby on. It can blind you. It looks to me as though there are only 4 LED lights? But somehow they're extremely bright. So, don't let its simplicity fool you. As far as its operation... you turn it on with the little heart button on the top. It has an automatic timer set for 45 seconds. The light comes on when you hit the button and turns off after the 45 seconds. Most gel nail products range from 30 to 60 seconds for LED curing. Read the product instructions to let you know how long. You do need to make sure that your product works with LED lights. I've read somewhere that although a lot of products only specify it's to use with UV light, that LED's can often work, but this is not always the case. I specifically tried a gel builder that only said UV and the LED didn't cure it in the slightest. So, keep your UV lamp just in case. BUT, I'm telling you, I LOVE this thing. It cuts the time in half. And something that you might not even think about, is that you can even get better results. I am an amateur trying to learn to do gel nails. I've been at this for over 6 months now and still have so much to learn. One issue I have had is the gel running. Meaning that it doesn't stay in place. I know a lot has to do with the viscosity of the gel. But even so, using an LED light cuts the curing time in 1/2 so the gel doesn't run as quickly. Trying to apply evenly while avoiding cuticles has been tough for me to learn especially when using a UV light. Since the UV takes longer, the gel would have a tendency to run and sometimes pool in the cuticle area. They can also turn out looking lumpy. So, with this LED lamp, I am able to do a better job and save a lot more time in the process. I just did the best job I've ever done so far by using it. So glad I purchased it. Wish I had bought it sooner. I hope this helps. ... show more

  • Mighty potent

I had to buy this one for travel, and I am surprised it worked so well although it doesn't have a timer, it cured quick and efficiently

  • Good for the price, but disappointing.
Color: White
While the price is attractive, this lamp was very disappointing. It has an automatic 45 second timer so you keep having to turn it back on to cure your nails for the appropriate amount of time. It's very small and your nails will keep hitting the insides of the lamp. Also there's no sort of effort to shield the light from people's eyes, UV light is very damaging to eyes and this just blared right into my retinas and I actually had blind spots after doing a couple nails. I recommend throwing a napkin or some sort of paper over the opening of the lamp while you're curing your nails or you will definitely hurt your eyes. The small size makes it very awkward to place all fingers inside, and forget about putting your thumb in with the rest of your fingers, that will have to be cured separately. However, it did do the job and cured the nails but I wish I'd have waited and put a bit more money into the purchase to get a better lamp. Overall it's a good purchase for the cost and gets the job done even if it is a bit inconvenient. ... show more

  • 3+ years later...my review!
Color: White
I purchased this lamp in February of 2017...it is currently August 2020, and I thought I'd write a review. It served me well for those 3+ years, especially for a $10 item. I used it very frequently to do my own nails, and often did friends nails as well for events! After using it for 3 years, here are my pros and cons. Pros: - Dries pretty fast even though it's low wattage. I usually did 60 seconds, although 30 seconds usually dried thin layers just fine. - Small and lightweight, so it's portable and easy to store. I was able to take it on trips and to friends houses to do my nails in my backpack. - Lasted 3 years, so $10 for pretty regular usage is great bang for my buck. - Does what it claims to do...I never had a gel nail polish it didn't work on. Cons: - Low wattage means it doesn't dry as fast as some higher wattage lamps would. - Small enough that I can't fit my whole hand in (much less two). I usually did 4 main fingers, then 4 fingers on my other hand, then my thumbs together hanging off a table. It took more time that way. - After 3.5 years, the light started puttering out and wouldn't stay on. I think that's a long time for a $10 lamp, but you may disagree. Overall, if you're dipping your toes into DIY gel nails, I highly recommend this lamp. It's a great low cost, high-value lamp that will let you try it out without making a big financial commitment. I recently upgraded to a bigger, higher wattage lamp for $30 since I do my nails consistently. But I am still considering repurchasing this one again so that I have a portable one for travel in case I need to redo a cracked nail on vacation. It's a great value! ... show more
