I got this a couple days ago. Wouldn't have bought it but it was at such a great price. I was so excited waiting for its arrival (which was fast being a Prime product). First off, the packaging was amazing. It is put in such a nicely designed box made especially for it (and I don't even mean the box shipped from Amazon). There is a thick protective sheet covering the underneath as Ive shown in the picture. It's blue. Not so easy to peel off. When you look at the underside you think, is this really going to do the trick? Will it cure like it's supposed to? Well be careful when you turn this baby on. It can blind you. It looks to me as though there are only 4 LED lights? But somehow they're extremely bright. So, don't let its simplicity fool you. As far as its operation... you turn it on with the little heart button on the top. It has an automatic timer set for 45 seconds. The light comes on when you hit the button and turns off after the 45 seconds. Most gel nail products range from 30 to 60 seconds for LED curing. Read the product instructions to let you know how long. You do need to make sure that your product works with LED lights. I've read somewhere that although a lot of products only specify it's to use with UV light, that LED's can often work, but this is not always the case. I specifically tried a gel builder that only said UV and the LED didn't cure it in the slightest. So, keep your UV lamp just in case. BUT, I'm telling you, I LOVE this thing. It cuts the time in half. And something that you might not even think about, is that you can even get better results. I am an amateur trying to learn to do gel nails. I've been at this for over 6 months now and still have so much to learn. One issue I have had is the gel running. Meaning that it doesn't stay in place. I know a lot has to do with the viscosity of the gel. But even so, using an LED light cuts the curing time in 1/2 so the gel doesn't run as quickly. Trying to apply evenly while avoiding cuticles has been tough for me to learn especially when using a UV light. Since the UV takes longer, the gel would have a tendency to run and sometimes pool in the cuticle area. They can also turn out looking lumpy. So, with this LED lamp, I am able to do a better job and save a lot more time in the process. I just did the best job I've ever done so far by using it. So glad I purchased it. It’s a lot smaller than anticipated but still works relatively well if you have small hands. It’s also a nice size if you ever want to travel with it. Works with with gel nail polish although I wish it had a timer like some of the bigger LED lights so you would know how long your hand has been and needs to be under the light ... show more

I've had his product for a year and it's worked well. I've used it mostly with gel polishes and the main issue I've found is that it only has the bulbs on just the top which sometimes causes the gel polish not to dry evenly, requiring you to do another round of curing and making sure you are exposing the sides of your nails so everything cures. It would work better with a few more bulbs and having them more evenly distributed for better curing. ... show more

To be honest.. I got this because of its price.. which is a fraction f what you pay in 1 visit to the nail salon... It is very convenient.. If you have kids like me and you also go to school, you definitely need it around.. Because of the kids, I never had the time to stay a long time for regular nail polish to dry, which results of its failure every single time... Also doing lots and lots of dishes makes it hard for any type of nail polish (including those gel polish that do not require the lamp) to stay for more than 24 hours.. I also can't afford going to the nail salon and pay tons of money.. so I decided to try this on.. When I first got it, I thought it was small and that my whole hands would not fit in.. It is true that not all my hands fit in, but you don't need your whole hands in there.. When I first tried it I thought it was amazing.. however, the one and only drawback is that if you put all of your fingers at once, your big finger will not be cured, and you will have to put it once more all by itself.. 24 hours later, most of the gel peeled off.. HOWEVER, this also happens to me whenever I go to a professional nail salon (I tried so many because of this reason, and they all peeled off) things to consider: - Some of the fingers have the gel sticking really good, and even if i tried to peel it off on purpose it wouldn't which indicated that this machine is working properly.. - the type and brand of the nail polish you use is of great importance.. - gel polish is usually much thicker than regular polish, which means you need to put thinner layers (which i didn't) I still think this is an amazing machine.. for the price, you get to do your own nails at home, and if you use it right with good brand of gel polish, you will get the best results.. I would definitely recommend it, and I will actually buy another one for my mom.. also remember that having one like this around is never useless.. if you decided to go to the nail salon, and have gel but then you went back home and a couple of days later you find one finger peeled off.. it would be a bad idea to use this to fix it... ... show more
