Summary: Back in 2020, I bought the padded tool belt below, and last week decided to add the H-Harness suspenders because of needing to carry a heavier load. Ordered these Belt Loops to use a tool attachment points. Observations: Melotough has over 300 products offered, and they specialize in tool belts and suspenders. It took me about 30 minutes to look through their varied offerings until settling on the one listed below. Pros: Decent construction, good pricing for value. Cons: Cost on the belt loops at $10 for 4 is a little higher than I think it needs to be, better to just buy them as part of a system (typically included with the suspenders). Conclusion: At $10 for the belt loops, rating those 4-stars (cost), and rating the other products 5-stars. If you spend much time wearing a gun rig you’re going to want a good pair of suspenders to dispute the weight. These are great. Durable, very light, wide enough not to cut in and the Molle design gives you options

The shoulder straps are sufficiently padded to wear under a backpack. I would’ve preferred a little more padding like the thickness of the Hazard 4 shoulder pads, however, these are good enough to wear under a pack that has ample padding. The color is coyote brown and matches the condor padded battle belt. I included a photo that compares the color to khaki or tan colored multi-tool and tourniquet pouches. I chose this product over the Condor as this has the YK hooks (not just straps that connect to the belt). The chest strap is a little too large and requires adjusting the strap to the smallest setting. Installed a couple of coyote brown elastic strap keepers on the chest strap due to the excess material. The only thing I didn’t like is the chest strap isn’t sewn into the pads, only loops around and then through the Molle webbing on one side. If the shoulder padding was a little thicker and the chest strap was sewn into the shoulder straps, I would’ve rated this product 5 stars for the price. ... show more
