Wow! This gazebo is incredibly sturdy! All the parts are perfectly fitted to go together. Its easy to tell if you have the right peices matched together because the holes will exactly fit! Other kits have oval holes so you can slide things around as needed, but that also makes their structures have a wiggle to them. Not this kit, I am very pleased with how well it was fabricated. Its recommended that you have several people putting it together, and it would really make it a bit easier. My wife and I worked on it by ourselves. It took us a few days, we also didn't push ourselves and worked on good weathered days. So if you have 5 - 6 people and you wanted to get it done I'd say you would be able to do it in under 2 days. We had 60 mph winds come through a couple days after we finished building it and it held up excellently!! No sway or issues! It snowed on it yesterday, not much but still it was heavy wet snow and it has proven to be an incredible product!! I highly recommend this product, I don't usually take the time to write a review but I felt so good about the product I wanted to help anyone else that is looking to buy a gazebo! ... show more

To start I am missing two roof panels so for now I cannot finish the project. I did message the seller and will give them time to respond and correct the issue at hand. Other than that it’s definitely a quality product I think for the price. Everything lined up well for me just take your time putting it together. I did most of this by myself but you will definitely at least need a second person to help make your life easier. Once I hopefully receive missing parts I will update review with final photos. ... show more

We actually enjoyed building the gazebo. this is the 12' x 13' hardtop model. My wife and I are 68 years old, and we had no problem building the gazebo up on our deck. It took about 12 hours to complete the project. I know everybody says that the roof is hard to build, I disagree, I'm not sure how it could be done easier and achieve the same quality. It's not hard it just takes time but the process is pretty simple. It would have been faster if we were building it at ground level with room to work. Every hole lined up perfectly. I didn't have to drill out a single hole. The package was well rapped, all parts are numbered for easy identification. I found no problem following the directions. To anyone on the fence, or unsure about purchasing this gazebo. It’s truly well built an as described. I received my gazebo nearly a week earlier than expected. But unfortunately one of the main support beams was damaged during the shipping process. I nervously reached out to Mellcom, an due to there wonderful customer service had a replacement beam within the week. I had a professional company assemble the gazebo for me. An I’m glad i did. It took there team about 8 hrs to complete the assembly. Me an my family have been enjoying this product daily amid my backyard construction. Even though some of the boxes were delivered damaged all of the part were inside were good, but we did have to bend couple of corners for the roof panels back in to place. Putting up the frame was relatively easy. The roof panels were the hardest because the instructions were put the panels into place then screw it down. Don't do this it doesn't work. Start with the middle panels they are they are layered and has a screw on the out side then one of the inside the one on the outside sucked. We had to remove all the other panels and put these two panels on first. (This will make more since when you build it). It took two weeks to build because I am in Vegas it's been 100+ everyday. Some days my husband and I could only work on it for 2 or 3 hours (not everyday though). Plus the seller responded back to me very quickly, when I had the wrong information for a tracking number. We buy larger one to replace smaller version 10x13 unit. 12x16 is a bit taller than 10x13 but still we need to lift it up for a foot to feel comfortable. I hope that they do different Hight units so you can choose. All together looks good but I don’t know about water drainage. 1st big rain showed that water doesn’t go all the way to 4 corners. A lot of it came to the center of long sides and it wasn’t comfortable. I have to look at it again and maybe adjust it some how ... show more

I AM A DISABLED VETERAN AND WASTED MY MONEY! I wish I could say that I love this gazebo, but the manufacturer does not provide the footing specs needed for the city to approve it. I still have the gazebo in the boxes, just sitting there. If I return it, I would have to pay the shipping for all of these huge boxes to be returned. (That would probably cost me hundreds of dollars.) I have told the company that I cannot get the permit from the city without the footing specs from a licensed engineer and they do not have that. I was told that any good company that sells Gazebos this big (14x20) would also have a valid engineer provide footing details. I wish I knew not to buy this from this company. I need the city's approval to build it and put it in my yard, but without the footing specs, I am stuck. I have been trying to find an engineer to help but it is VERY hard and costly. I wasted my hard-earned money and my heart is broken from the expectation that I would have been enjoying it in my yard. Over $3,000 wasted! UPDATE: I finally saved enough money to pay for an engineer to create the footing details for the city to approve the build. I am afraid of what I will find inside the boxes (broken or damaged parts). I am now hopefull that I did not waste my money. ... show more
