The size is perfect. There isn't much shrinkage after first wash&dry. Less than 15% whick is good for cotton flannel . This is one of a few companies that offer all cotton. I like the quality, the softness, the workmanship. These sheets should last me forever. I purchased 2 more sets after receiving the first set. I WOULD HIGHLY RECCOMEND these sheets to EVERYONE. One drawback though. I would have liked to buy 2 flat sheets, & a matching set of standard pillow cases but was unable to at this time. I've been extensively searching for a Pinzon replacement. These sheets are supposedly long-staple cotton, heavy weight, double brushed on both sides. They are a great weight. At first I thought they were soft but after a few days I thought they were a tiny bit scratchy and I'm sure they'll soften up with more washes. But after 2 weeks I noticed they looked like they would start pilling soon. Once I put my Pinzon sheets back on the bed I was oh-so happy. I'm returning these and will spend the extra few $$ for Portuguese flannel sheets. And if flannel sheets were no longer made there I would go with Mellanni Amazon - Please, please bring back Pinzon !! ... show more

Pros: so far holds up great in the wash. Medium thickness, not too heavy but not super see through Thick elastic on the bottom Cons: this is definitely a blue gray, not even a gray dominant sheet which kind of sucks Biggest con, it’s not deep pocket. I have a 16” mattress, no topper or anything, and my corner straps I use on sheets are struggling to even vaguely keep these sheets under the corners of my mattress. False advertising. ... show more

I got 2 sets of these Heavy Organic Flannel sheets in light blue, Queen (one as a gift). Unfortunately, I received a bright baby blue not the lovely pale blue pictured. It was really hard to get a good picture and lighting, but the color in my 1st picture is pretty accurate. The sheets are extremely soft and seem to be good quality, though I didn't take them out of the box, and although they are a fairly loose weave, that's normal for flannel and I think they would be comfortable and are definitely worth the price. The next most "affordable" organic flannel I've found is ~$100, too much for me! I tried to order white to avoid more color discrepancy (and returns!), but they apparently won't ship for 2 months so I contacted Mellanni. I'll update when resolved, but definitely won't be keeping the light blue. It's almost bordering on Smurf blue to me, not pale and pretty at all (that's just my preference though). I've been satisfied with the service from Mellanni prior to purchase so hopefully I'll end up with some flannel to keep! ... show more

I specifically needed these sheets to be “gray” and unfortunately, they were not. I am not sure if the photo shows the blue tint. I was unable to use the pillow cases due to their color. Fitted pockets worked well.

    • Good, thick flannel!

The quality of the fabric is very good. But not super soft. I think that is because they are thicker than most. I got charcoal color and they're not quite as dark as the picture. But they did not get pills after washing. That is important to me. So I would buy again.
