I went by their instructions on what size to buy (3 seat couch) but it’s not long enough. It also isn’t deep enough. So I have to readjust it every day. I have an antique sofa (circa 1960s) that I inherited from my Great-grandfather. It has an iron frame, oak accents, and those lovely metal springs under the cushions. I bought this since I was hoping it would work better than going to Home Depot to purchase plywood to put under my cushions. I am so glad I purchased this for my sofa! Unless you have lived in our home and 'know' my sofa's quirks, you would never know where the broken spring or loose boards are located. The fabric cover is awesome! I have now had this item for at least a few weeks, and no amount of sitting, sleeping, dog jumping onto and off, and what-have-you has moved these supports in the slightest. To add to this, I have a sofa cover on the couch, and even the tucking and repositioning of the cover have not affected the support placement.
