  • Amazing and fun
Pokémon Corviknight was easy to put together for my 10 year old nephew. He had great fun putting it together and even more fun with the final product. It's more than a figurine. The wings look realistic. Most parts are bendable being able to position it different ways. He asked for more to for Christmas. ... show more

  • Big and beautiful!
This new Pokemon Corviknight is a big bird. The shape is fantastic when completed. And it is really big. I added a picture of the standard smaller Pokemon size that come in the Pokeball. This guy towers over them. It is a fun model to build. As with all of the Megaconstrux Pokemon, they do a great job of getting all of the parts needed to make a really good final product. There are a few specialty pieces included in this set. The whole top of the head is one large piece. I am actually surprised by that. I think they could have made the whole head out of standard parts. But we get the really great red eyes printed on there. There are also a large number of rubber feathers. I am not a huge fan of the rubber parts, since I am worried they will not survive the long term over years of use, but they are used in all of the right places. This bird has great articulation. The mouth opens. The head is on a ball joint, so it can turn side to side as well as move up and down. Each of the wings are on a ball joint, so you can get the bird's wings in all sorts of great poses. The hips are ball jointed, but because of the way the body is made, the hips just move front to back. There is not really any more need than that. The feet are on ball joints, so there is a lot of possing that can be done there, from walking to laying down. And the tail is also on a ball joint for great movement. Corviknight comes with two blasts that he is firing out of his wings. They are on clear rods and are out a good distance from the body. There is also a small pokeball that can be attached to a backpack zipper. Overall, the build is fun and straightforward. A big guy with less than an hour build time for a skilled builder. The overall look is great. He is well made for play, and display alike. You will not be disappointed adding this great Pokemon to your collection. ... show more

  • Mega Construx Corviknight
Fun build for Pokemon fans, not too difficult but provides some challenge for kids 8 and older. The set has 340+ pieces and is decent quality, although not as good as the leading brand. It's also not as expensive so there's a tradeoff there and this kit works with other Mega Construx pieces. I like some of the detail put into this. The wings can be adjusted, as well as the head and legs, so it's not just a fixed position build once you are done and you can actually play with it a little bit. A little "luxury ball" pin is included as a bonus which I thought was a nice touch. Overall, a good set and a lot of fun to put together and display. It's a nice size, not too big or small, and I'm fairly impressed with the quality and look of the Corviknight after putting it all together. ... show more

  • Rubber additions to the feathers
This is a pretty neat set. I have to say I am usually a bigger fan of LEGO than Mega Construx. However LEGO doesn’t offer Pokémon so my grandson and I have dabbled in the Mega Construx world. The pieces are similar to LEGO but not exactly the same I would say. My grandson has done numerous Pokémon and Mega Construx in the past. Some of those he has needed some help in certain areas. On this build he didn’t need any help. There were no tricky parts or pieces that didn’t fit well. So that was very refreshing. There are dark blue rubber pieces that are thin that fit within the plastic build bricks. They are part of the feathers. There are some on the wings. It’s an interesting addition mainly because it’s a different medium. Then there is the head that completely moves around and rotates. I find that to be very unique addition to the set as well. The final build is sturdy and well put together. It has nice dimension and is also easy to handle. ... show more

  • Fun, Simple Build
My 10 yr old granddaughter LOVES these lego-inspired robot builds. This is her 3rd build. While it was one of the simpler ones she was really excited that it was a Pokemon figure and set straight to working on it. She had to leave the build the first day after about an hour but finished it up soon after with a total build time of about 2 hrs. I'm a stickler for good instructions on these things so that kids don't get discouraged and Mega Construx delivered there. Good, clear photos for every step of the way with the pieces split into several bags for each "section" of the build. The finished figure articulates in multiple areas (head, beak, wings, feet, tail) which is really cool. Definite 5 star kit. Would purchase a Mega Construx figure again. ... show more

  • Son loves it
My 8 year old is a huge Pokémon fan and we have almost all of the mega construx pokemon sets that have came out in the last couple of years. He really enjoys building them and then playing with them once they are built. The directions for this Corviknight are just as easy to follow as any of there other sets. There is a complete and easy to understand step by step guide on how to build it. It took my son about a week to finish it spending a little over an hour each day. The finished figure is really cool looking! Just like a lot of the other sets like this Corviknight is moveable in quite a few places so that your able to pose him or play with him however you want to. Overall love it! Keep the Pokémon sets coming Mega Construx!!! ... show more

  • Recognizable as Corviknight
I’ve built a handful of the different Pokemon sets from Mega Construx. Pokemon aren’t always suited to block form, but I think the finished Corviknight looks good. It’s easily recognizable as Corviknight. The feet and wings are built with ball-and-socket joints, so they are poseable. The Corviknight can stand on its own to be displayed, or posed into an attack position with the wings outstretched. The wing feathers are made from a flexible plastic that looks cool. The instructions are clear, 6+ can easily handle this, especially if they have experience with other building toys. An adult’s help might be needed for some of the small pieces, I’ve noticed that sometimes small Mega Construx pieces are hard to snap together. The Poke Ball “pin” is actually a brick piece. Theoretically it could be “pinned” through a zipper pull, but it works best on display next to the Corviknight. ... show more
