Exactly What I Was Hoping For & More
I had two of the battle network games when I was younger and loved them and hoped for them to be released for the Switch. This game has those two and quite a few others I never got to play and lots of additional content as well. I’m currently re-playing through one of the ones I used to have and ther
e’s a lot of additional areas and storylines that weren’t originally in the US versions (at least that’s what I read). The game plays well and it’s just like I remember. There’s even a few added options that make things easier or less frustrating in certain areas which is nice. These games gave me some of the most fun times I’ve ever had gaming and it’s awesome to get to play them again and I’m exciting play the others also. I can’t recommend it enough.

Great collection worth the price
One of my favorite gba series gets another high quality collection treatment from Capcom. Not only did they give the graphics a smooth over they added all the japanese only content, gave the special cards for the last three games that let you change various aspects of megaman or get various in game r
ewards, as well as a solid online battling element. I haven't messed with that aspect very much but it seems to run pretty well from what I did play. If you missed this game when it came out or played it as a kid and loved it then you won't be dissapointed. There is enough content between the 6 games [they say its 10 but its basically 6] and they added enough qol changes that it feels worth paying full price. If you just want to play against friends and dont care about playing each of the stories I would recommend just getting the second volume and playing Gregar and Falzar they are the most balanced for pvp and are probably the best games other than the third entry. You dont really need to play each of them in order to follow along except for 5 Colonel version does connect to 6 in some ways

Solid Collection, But Gamebreaking Soft Lock for 6's Post-Game New to Collection
Updated 8/5/23: There was a patch added that fixes the softlock by making the rewards consistent across languages. I'll keep the original review for those who want an extra Air Racket * as they can still grab it if they don't update the game. I also managed to get the bonus codes, so all is well now.
5/5 collection, would definitely recommend! Original Text: The collection is really solid, and I managed to get the pre-order codes for my Switch version (still working on getting the codes for the PS4 version). There is this one bug/oversight with BN6, however. Because the script is unchanged from the original GBA localizations, the rewards for the Virus Battler quest in BN6 differs between regions. The reward for clearing the 5th Virus Battler is the biggest offender as the Japanese version gives you Django V3 D while the USA version gives you Super Vulcan V, which is also obtained in 3 other ways (Underground, Chip Order, and a Patch Card). Since this is the only way to get Django 3 D without factoring in multi-player (you can trade, library compare + chip order, or use 30 Crossover Points gained from Ranked PvP to get a 12.5% chance of getting it from the Boktai/Otenko Trader), you lock yourself out of 4 Title Screen Emblems (since the Mega Chip Emblem is required to also get the Giga Chip Emblem, the Program Advance Emblem, and the Bass Emblem). That being said, because of this issue, you can get yourself two Wind Racket * chips (Wind Racket * removes enemy auras in this game, so it's great for PvP) and avoid softlocks by doing the following (since all other English rewards are easily obtained with the Patch Cards): Beat Virus Battler 1 in English (Wind Racket * instead of Air Spinner 1 F) Beat Virus Battler 2-5 in Japanese (Anti Damage R, Geddon L, Wind Racket *, & Django 3 D). Solid collection otherwise.

Another Mega Man Legacy Collection to add to the collection.
I was really hopeful that Capcom would do a Battle Network collection, following the classic, X and Zero/ZX legacy collections. Thankfully it happened (fingers crossed for a Legends and Star Force collection). This is the best way to experience the BN series. This collection contains both volumes 1 &
2. Vol. 1 has Battle Network 1, 2 and both versions of 3. Vol 2. Contains both versions of games 4, 5 and 6. Much needed quality of life improvements have made things so much better, and supposedly the grammatical errors that the BN series has been known for, have been fixed as well. The inclusion of a switchable buster max mode will help cut through some of the more tedious parts in some of the games. This collection includes all of the Japan only content that was removed in other versions. Such as the Boktai cross over side missions, extra bosses and all of the incredibly rare chips and e-reader card gifts. The game is a love letter to Battle Network fans. They even got Mega Man Exe’s voice actor from the English dub of the anime, to reprise the role and be your guide for the main menu between Vols 1 & 2. Included along with the 10 games, are galleries of music, art work, concept art and other promotional art. My only gripe is that Battle Network Chip Challenge, Operate Shooting Star and the DS version of Battle Network 5 is not included with the collection. There’s also online Player vs Player and Chip trading to help fill out the library across all 10 games. There’s also no significant difference in performance in the Switch port compared to other ports.

Very happy with my order. It was an imported item and it arrived quite a few days ahead of schedule and the package was in mint condition. Would defnintly use Amazon again, the game itself is as good as I remember and still a lot of fun.

Great game and quick delivery
Great quality and delivered with care. This game was constantly out of stock, so when I initially bought it, the delivery time frame was 2 months, so when the game arrived early by 1 month I was super satisfied

Missing Pet Pack Bonus Code
Super excited for this game. Love especially how you are able to play with or without the high resolution filter. Would have given this 5 stars if amazon didn’t forget to send one of the two promotional codes. I saw a previous reviewer say to contact capcom support directly. Capcom got back to me wit
hin a week. Just provide proof of purchase and the 1 code you only received. Don’t ask Amazon support to help they made me wait 2 weeks with no help then when I called them, they told me to call square Enix. I’m not too sure they know what is going on. You are better off emailing Capcom.

Never recived Vol. 1 pre-oder code
The game is fantastic they are basically my childhood however despite pre-ordering this back in January i only recieved the pre-order code for Vol. 2 and not vol. 1 so i only got HALF of my pre-order bonuses. Update: after fighting with Amazon support, talking with 10+ service reps that's didn't unde
rstand what i was asking about alone with 3 supervisors for 3 weeks I followed the advice of another reveiw saying to contact Capcom support with proof of purchase, I was able to finally get my Vol. 1 pre-order bonus. I would recommend anyone still having issues with their pre-order bonuses do thay aswell because it seems Amazon support doesn't know how to differentiate between pre-order bonuses and promotions. If it weren't for this fact This would be a 5/5 review.

Great Game Collection, Great Value!
This collection has Battle Network 1-6, with both versions of each for 3-6+ the (digital) patch cards that used to be JP exclusive. One of the most unique, and fun, RPGs ever made imo. Though 1 does show its age more than others. I know another review mentioned a poor value, but if you buy the collec
tion that has vol 1 and 2, you are getting 10 (total with generation variants) games for $60. That’s like $6/each if they were on the online store as a virtual console title. AND you get the patch cards virtually to be able to use with them. In my opinion, those alone make up any price variance. And the online works! So you can trade and battle your friends! I hope they continue this great trend of legacy collections with a Starforce collection next!

Great Game, used to play back then happy to own the collection.
Love megaman, i have Battle Network 3 White game boy cartridge and I gave away BN6 Gregar years ago to a friend, so getting this collection is special for me since I get to play all the games now. Happy with the purchase.

I purchased Megaman Battle Network to relive childhood nostalgia. Contains all six games from the series. A new addition is the cultural sensitivity disclaimer when the game boots up. Capcom shares their updated values of diversity and inclusion. I’m glad that’s communicated to players upfront since
many of the characters have outdated cultural stereotypes. New powerful chips and buster max speed virus busting. So far my favorite games are 3 and 6.
