My kids are obsessed with these, they come in an egg with slime and the kids have to find all the pieces in the slime and assemble them. If you have multiple breakout beasts you can mix and match and customize your own beasts which is usually what happens when they start loosing pieces but they have so much fun with them ... show more

Loved this except the SLIME and GLITTER! How did I not know? Did I not read it? Did I miss it? All the parts come in slime. And then there is extra glitter to mix in your slime. NOPE. Never again for my kids. I personally hate slime and glitter. They ruin anything they touch, get everywhere, and pull stain off furniture. ... show more

    • If you are worried about the slime, don't I have a solution!
These are so much better than Series 1. Less slime that is thicker and easier to get off is a plus. Just use a kitchen sink and Safeguard hand soap it's a breeze! Don't forget the warm water! Do this before giving to a small child. Dry well before assembly and it will go much better. I just want Honeyglow and Wilde to add to my collection. ... show more

I knew I was taking my chances ordering 8 of them and prepared myself to at least get a couple of duplicates. I got so lucky we got all different ones! My kids are estactic as we love these series. Came nicely packaged. I personally could pass on the slime but my daughter loves it. Was easy getting the pieces out of the slime as well. ... show more

    • If you like blind packs and slime, this is probably great
So, unpopular opinion I know, but I DON'T like blind packs or slime. I hate them with a passion. Call me crazy, call me old-fashioned, but I like knowing exactly what I'm buying and not having to clean goo off my brand-new product. But these Crystal Creatures looked really cool, so I wanted to try a few.I bought three eggs and two were duplicates (wow, blind packs, fun! That's like paying $15/each instead of $10!) Bottom line, they ARE very pretty and nice quality, but gosh these gimmicks make me way too stressed out and angry. I think I need to avoid these for my mental health. Series 1 of this product line was all equines and deer. This one adds dragons, lions, and a panther. The slime formula in the two I received was much easier to deal with than from Series 1. They also include accessory decorations to pour into the slime if that's your thing. A neat little product, and it pairs well with Breakout Beasts. ... show more

    • Beware - Duplicates a reality instead of just a possibilty
I ordered 2 and received the same one twice. I get that it’s a possibility, but it was very disappointing - especially since the only other Season 2 egg we hatched was that exact creature. So I have three of the exact same Crystal Creature and a very disappointed daughter.
