Decent. Some of the tubes were smashed a tad on arrival - not really an issue for me; I’m one of those people who squeeze tubes in the middle. I’m a seriously messy artist who paints outdoors in central Texas, leaving caps off, sitting in the sun at about 100°. I don’t recommend doing that. For the p
rice, it’s really a good deal. My only disappointment is the green, which is somewhat of an average Kelly green. Phalo green would have been by far more useful.

I got a set of these as a bonus with an easel I got. I liked them SO much I ordered more. If you’re a Bob Ross style painter- these are perfection. They’re THICK, not at all runny, which is exactly what you need if you’re painting with either Bob Ross or Bill Alexander. I have found the quality is co
nsistent, and the thickness is actually better and more firm than the actual Bob Ross brand paints.

e. These are in my opinion artist, professional grade. They are consistent from color to color in their buttery texture. They do not seem to be overly loaded with fillers. They seem highly pigmented and hold up well to tinting. They blend together well. They hold their texture on the canvas and show brush strokes. They glaze well mixing with (in my use) Galkyd resin medium and Gamsol solvent. The colors are intense and pigments are marked on the packaging and rated for safety, transparency and for their permanence. One thing I don’t get about the color selections is their using what they call Cerulean Blue. I know from experience that real Cerulean Blue is expensive and in less expensive paints going to be a mixture of phthalocyanine blue and titanium white. What I don’t get is why include the mixture, why not just include phthalocyanine blue? You can always add the white to it yourself. To be fair that is just my opinion. They mark the tube with the mixture PW6/PB15, the mixture I mentioned. The tubes are a very good size 50ml and at this price, they average only $2.46 per tube at the time of my review. The paint works great, handles very well. See the photo of the painting I did with this oil paint.

These Meeden Artist Oil Paints are this newbie's new go-to oil paints. The value for thirteen 50mm tubes is the best deal I've come across as far as cost and the great product you receive. The paints are way firmer than I expected. You'll see in the photo of all 12 colors on the my pallet that there
is almost zero oil seepage. This is a 13-pack because there are 2 titanium whites, which will come in handy. The colors are very vibrant, exactly what you'd expect from a thicker oil. The tubes and boxes are labeled in a way that it is easy to tell if you are using transparent, translucent, or opaque. I took a photo of three boxes showing the filled in circle, the half circle, and the empty circle at the bottom of the box on the right side. I have yet to see this shown on any other affordable label of paints. The paints mixed well, marbled well, and did exactly what I wanted. I also included a photo of a painting I finished using only these paints. I would definitely recommend this 13-pack.

I normally paint with acrylics, so this was something of an experiment for me, and I am coming to oil paints as a beginner. For my first go with this medium, I thought this was a lovely set to start with. The tubes are clearly marked and the selection in the sampler set was great -- it offers a nice
starter group of colors to allow for a lot of different blends, and you get a good bit of paint for the price. The paint itself was smooth and creamy as it came out of the tube, and I didn’t have any separation or unevenness. The paint worked up nicely, with a great feel, good coverage, and smooth application. I love how easy it was to create different textures. I was able to clean up fairly easily with mineral spirits and dish soap. Overall I was very pleased for my first attempt at trying out some oil paints, and I would definitely recommend these to other beginners looking to get started.

I painted this so everyone could see the colors! The oil paint was not hard to thin out. And the drying time was about 48 hours. Great quality for beginner painters. It did not hurt the pockets!

Very soft and buttery and colors are consistent. They are a bit thin so lay it on thick, it's more fun that way. Colors are a bit subdued and expect to use a lot of white. Student quality, but fun to use for practice and small works without going broke.

The media could not be loaded. There was alot of product here, these paints will last a long time. The paint had good viscosity to it being smooth and creamy. The black was the only one that dribbled oil out when I opened it. It worked well with mineral spirits and was easy to blend. I painted a pict
ure of a lemon slice, forgive me I dont normally paint fruit, i normally paint people just didnt want to spend the kind of time needed to do that tonight. The paint was a joy to work with honestly. The paint washed off my hands fairly easily with dish soap. I would buy this paint again considering the amount I received and the price, it's a good buy.
