    • Over the Moon!!!!
I have a Quadrafire Voyager fireplace insert. One of the reasons I chose the quad was because of the large glass window because I like to see the fire, so keeping the glass relatively clean is pretty important. Have used every product I could find and even tried a brush and ash from the fireplace. While several of the products worked ok, it was messy and time consuming. I would use at least 1/2 roll of paper towels and it would take about 45 min to an hour, start to finish...and the glass still wasn't really clean. I read the reviews on MEECO's Red Devil and decided to try it. 5 stars is not enough. I open my door completely and put newspaper underneath to catch the drips. I start spraying at the top in slight sweeping motion. I repeat this several times and just watch the stuff fall off and drip onto the newspaper. Then I take a paper towel and start wiping down so more stuff falls on the newspaper. No scrubbing at all and even the baked on stuff melts away. I use a damp paper towel and wipe off the glass and then I just gather up the newspaper and paper towels and toss in the garbage. The whole project took less that 15 minutes. The odor is not excessively strong and there is no scrubbing or scraping. It is amazing. Don't want to ever run out! ... show more

    • Awesome Fireplace Glass Cleaner
in another review a video was posted of this product (MEECO'S RED DEVIL 701 Woodstove Glass Cleaner) being used. The video showed the user spraying the cleaner onto their very dirty fireplace glass, waiting a minute or so then wiping the glass and most of the dirt/smoke/etc wiped right off. I have spending a long time using all types of cleaners and scrubbing pads to try to clean my fireplace glass and still couldn't get all the gunk off the glass. I just received the product and sprayed the product on my fireplace glass, waited less than a minute and wiped the gunk off, I couldn't believe how easy the gunk wiped off. You do need to wait at least 30-60 seconds for the chemical to work but I was amazed how well it worked. Will definitely purchase again. ... show more

    • Sprayer doesn't work!
I purchased the creosote bricks in this brand and was very happy with them and decided to try the spray to clean the glass door on my cast iron insert. Unfortunately the sprayer doesn't work and the cleaner just runs down my hand instead. I feel that a good quality working sprayer isn't much to ask for when you spend $15 on a fairly small bottle of glass cleaner. I know I'm using far more product when I have to pour it on paper towels to clean the glass. It does work fairly well but I won't purchase again after having such a poor experience.     • Can’t believe my eyes!
I really doubted this would work as well as it says it does but it’s unbelievable! Cleaned the glass of my wood fireplace instantly! My glass doors had become so blackened that I didn’t even use them any more cuz I could hardly see the fire (which I enjoy watching). I sprayed this product on the doors and wiped off the black instantly! Be sure to wear gloves and a mask cuz it is strong stuff, I inhaled a tiny bit and had a slightly sore throat for a couple hours but could have avoided it if I wore a mask. 😷. There is plenty in the bottle for many more cleans 😀 ... show more

    • This Stuff Cleans Really Well On Woodburner Glass Door
I use it with every other fire. It is easy to spray on and wipe off quickly with a paper towel. Much better than household glass cleaner. I rarely need more than one application for my woodburner. It is toxic stuff, so I do wear nitrile gloves and try not to inhale when cleaning. I'm pleased with the product and will buy again. ... show more

Bought this and Power Paste. This item works when there is a light film on the glass. Did not work well on the heavy stuff.
