  • Got a counterfeit, but Mediabridge was very responsive.Great experience
Color: 25 Feet
I received my cable and used it for awhile with no problems. Speed was fine but then I updated my internet to gigabit speeds and tried a speedtest to verify that I was getting the speeds from my router that the ISP said I was. I used this cable and found that it was maxing out at 100Mbps. Just to confirm that it was the cable and not my router, I used a shorter cable I have that I know support up to 10Gbps. Sure enough, the router was fine. I read on here that some buyers may have received a counterfeit product so I contacted Mediabridge. They were very helpful and we verified that the cable I had received was counterfeit. They sent me a new one right away and I re-ran the speedtest and the speeds are exactly what I expected. Just a note to others: If your cable doesn't have writing on it, it's probably fake news. Your cable should say Mediabridge, CAT6, etc. If not, contact Mediabridge and let them know and they should be able to help you out. ... show more

  • Didn't hold up - consistent problems
Color: 15 Feet
I purchased this item for work. Since we began using these cables from Mediabridge, we have had intermittent connection issues. I deal with a large company so the blame was always shifted between IT and connection to the servers, internet connection speed and sharing with another office in the building, the actual device that was sending the data, you name it - it was always something. I got very frustrated and had the cabling company come out to run diagnostics on the physical connections and we finally narrowed down the problem to these Mediabridge cables. Even with a brand new cable, we had consistent return failures. Even with another Mediabridge cable pulled from another device, we had consistent return failures. This happened last week and they replaced the cables with one made by another manufacturer and we have, for the first time in years, a consistent strong connection without dropped data. Not sure what the problem is with these, but I have had nothing but trouble. ... show more

  • Good quality, good price and good performance!
Color: 15 Feet
I used to make my own Ethernet cables, especially if they were long ones. They were so expensive that I would just cringe at the high prices stores wanted for them. These Mediabridge cables are high quality and they are very nicely made. All of the cables I ordered worked fine and I virtually have no complaints. They are ½ to ¼ the price of the same quality cables sold at other stores. I highly recommend these cables and I am glad I didn't have to make my own again. I purchased multiple length cables and I was happy with them all. All of the cables came with Velcro tie straps to help you roll up the excess cable or to coil it up and put it into your computer bag. I purchased multiple 15 foot, 25 foot and 50 foot cables and I will order a 100 foot cable. I have no complaints at all. I purchased 5 of these cables of various lengths and I have had no problems at all. I tested them and then installed them. A good product for the price. I ran one cable from my main floor of my home to the basement to install another network switch and it is working fine. The cable was tough enough to be fed through the floor and run above a drop ceiling to reach the remote network switch without any problems. I am in the process of installing another network switch to use 1 GHz Ethernet speeds to some of my remote streaming devices. I like these cables a lot! For the money, they perform well and I would purchase them again. Don't get suckered into paying high dollars for brand names that promise more performance! I am happy with the quality and the reliability of these cables. They work well and are reasonably priced. ... show more

  • Good cable at a fair price
Color: 25 Feet
The cable seems to be well made and the connectors on each end appear secure. I will definitely order more to connect more of my A/V devices to a router where appropriate. Why connect with a cable when you have wifi? Being a gamer I wasn't getting a fast enough signal using wifi and after going back to a traditional hardwire connection to my router I was able to improve my download speed from 30Mbps to 120Mbps. Which brought my frame rate from an annoying lag of 45 to 17 and increased my frame rate from mid 30's to over 90. In non geek-speak :) it makes playing games or watching movies streaming music a much more enjoyable experience. I would also add, I did receive an email from the company making sure that I didn't have any questions or concerns about their product. Sadly, it's very rare to find a company that actually cares about its customers so I definitely give them props for following up. ... show more

  • Folks, this does work. I own two, both work fine.
Color: 25 Feet
I've done something rather odd. I actually decided the Internet was too available and too fast. So I not only cut the cord on TV (years ago) but recently set up my main computing station ... without a hard cable. In other words, even streaming is wifi. That means I don't much do it. However, sometimes work does require—or eBay bidding does require!—fast access. That's when I hook up this hard cable. I have two MacBook Pros, one rather antique. This works fine. I have never had a problem with any Mediabridge product. I own dozens of their cables, including for hifi use. ... show more

  • Just the right size no signal loss.
Color: 25 Feet
There was a time when I couldn't give these cables away. But with the rise of Wi-Fi these things are becoming harder to harder find in custom lengths. And when you do find them you want to make sure they're of a good quality. Just the right length for my need. Excellent quality. No signal loss.

  • Just as expected
Color: 25 Feet
If you are looking for a decent cable for a fraction of the cost of the big box stores, here ya go. Needed a long cable to move my wifi router away from where the cable modem router sits, so its across the room and much more central to the house and on top of a bookshelf. Cable has been working great. It will also attract all the ladies if you wear it as a necklace. Wear it out to the next party, its great for networking. Or I guess you can just use it with network devices. ... show more
