When it was recieved as you can see in the pics, some one had already tried to open it. But thankful 🙏 the company had it taped pretty good. I got it put together but having trouble downloading software on my dinosaur laptop. The one review said it was plastic. It's all metal and good quality. Great value for the money. Speed and performance will be updated later when I figure this out lol. Thank you mecpow! PS. If ur laser won't connect to your computer, make sure the emergency stop button is UP! This machine is great. Setup was super easy, and after watching a few lightburn videos I was up and running. Super happy I purchased this machine after reading/watching reviews on it. After 2 weeks I've already made my money back on it. The air assist is an absolute must have, big difference.

These beds don't seem like much, just a metal grid to place your wooden blanks on. But man, oh, man, do they step up your laser game. Adding air assist and this bed have made my projects look like the professionals. I love it. i find that I cut through more evenly and burn marks have all but gone away. I still don't get why they are so pricy, but with what they provide in terms of project output, it's worth every penny. They do get gummed up after awhile. There is a residue like oven grease that builds up on the metal bottom piece, so make sure to give it a good scrape and clean from time to time. ... show more

    • Laser head issues

Works good so far. Easy set up. Main issue is that the laser head does not sit straight. It is at a slight angle making it difficult to get the spacing right on your materials. When you adjust the height, and the let go, it swings down and becomes to close. This is because the mounting system for the laser head is very sloppy and loose. My other issue is that they show a certain type of air assist them ship you a cheap plastic one. But, all of this can be ignored because of the cheap price. I also doubt this is a 10 watt laser, probably more like 7 or 8 watt. I will use it for now but will buy a better unit next time. ... show more

    • A wonderful solution to a stinky problem
I’m super impressed with this enclosure. It’s just the right size to cover my machine and keep the smoke from filling the house. It’s winter and I don’t have a heated shop, so if I want to learn how to use and experiment with my new laser machine this is a must have. I can do a short burn without it, but for more detailed work this is going to be awesome. It seemed to have light weight supports at first, but when assembled and the cover Velcro is attached it’s super sturdy. It was very easy to assemble, even the fan went in without a problem. Their description video shows how to do the whole thing. The fan is not huge, but doesn’t need to be since its only moving smoke. It is a USB plug in. I am surprised at how sturdy the material of the “tent” is. I love that there is such a large clear but safe-colored area where it zips closed. I can run the laser and not worry about my small dogs staring at it. I had to put them in their crates before I got this to use the machine. The tent is lightweight enough to remove if I want to set it aside, but most of the time I see no reason to...a small flashlight does come in handy though since it's dark in there! It's easy to just lift the corners or a side to access switches when needed. This is a great solution to not having a laser with a built in cover…and I am delighted there is a reasonable price on this well-made safety item. ... show more

    • Lots of room
I really like this enclosure at first I wasn’t too sure about it because it didn’t seem like it was very sturdy. The connectors are plastic and I had trouble with the top support. The plastic connector broke in half. So I just took a 3/8 x 12” dowel rod and inserted it into the end of each rod to give it more support it seems to be working out just fine now. It comes with an exhaust fan that you can install on either side of the enclosure. This enclosure contains most of the smoke and fumes from the laser. I like how big of a window you have, and the opening is really big so it makes it easier when you’re using large pieces or sheets of wood. The fan is ran off of a USB plug which worked out great for me because that’s the only type of outlet I had available. It Could probably be ran off of your computer USB port, if you have a spare one. Overall, this is a very nice enclosure. I think it needs to have inserts in the rods to hold them together rather than plastic connectors. Or connectors that are a little bit more heavy duty. I’m not sure how long this is going to last because the metal rods and the plastic connectors are very thin. Only time will tell I will update my review if anything changes. I recommend if the connectors are improved. ... show more
