Not sure why the oak table cost so much more than the other woods, except to say that it was more difficult to find one available in the lighter wood/finish to match my other furniture. Anyhow, it is beautiful oak with a lovely finish. I bought it to replace the sagging card table I'd been using as a sewing table. I couldn't find any card table with a hard top, but this table was very close in size and height. I needed one that would fit the full-length wrap-around skirt I made some years ago. This table is exactly what I wanted- big enough for 1000 piece puzzle and sturdy enough to survive my leaning on it as I work the current puzzle. Foldable legs so I can easily store it leaning against the wall out of the way if I have to take it down. Perfect for me!

This table looks like it is worth way more than the price. It was very easy to unpack and set up. Very sturdy. I highly recommend it for a small apartment or as an occasional extra table. Very classy in appearance and does not look like it is a folding table when it is set up. Very impressed.
