I did iron before putting it on the table but it really wouldn't have been necessary if I had taken it out of the dryer sooner. It’s a nice color and the fabric is durable and easy to launder. I ironed it but it probably wasn’t necessary. I’m very pleased with it.

This is a nice all occasion table cloth. Water seems to bead up and not penetrate and stains wash out, although I always use a stain remover before throwing it in the wash. After drying I take it directly out and put on the table-no wrinkles. I would recommend this tablecloth.

    • OK stain removal

I almost didn't purchase this because I saw the reviews complaining that it wasn't stain-resistant. So as soon as I received it, I tested it by purposely putting some red wine and barbeque sauce mixed with oil on two places and letting it set for several hours. (I figured I could return it if they didn't come out.) I then treated it with spray-on stain remover, washed it in warm (not cold, as recommended on the label) water with Oxyclean. The wine came out but not the bbq sauce. So repeated the process but this time used hot and it came out. The fabric is clearly synthetic--not one is going to be fooled that this is a luxury-quality, natural-fiber tablecloth--but for a 12-foot tablecloth it's a great value and I'm happy to have it. ... show more

The gold color was very pretty, and it did repel liquids and possible stains. However, I bought these to add to my collection, originally bought at a Bed, Bath, and Beyond store, which I cannot find anymore.
