This mirror has helped my feel much safer when I ride on the street and has increased my joy of riding. I feel more secure keeping track of vehicles and bikes behind me without having to turn my head around. It was easy to install and looks great from the front and behind. Design and construction are top notch and mirror stays in place even over rough terrain. The mounting on the outer side of handlebar has an advantage for a wide view of what's coming at me from behind. The only disadvantage to the side mount is that it adds 5 inches to your handlebar width. If tight tree runs are your thing you can turn the mirror up and over to keep it from getting nocked off or consider another mounting option. The mirror is durable, but breaks on the swivel joint if you hit a tree or other obstacle at high speeds, which is why I am now on my second purchase : ) I believe a single mirror on left side is sufficient for most people, providing you stay to the right on roads and trails. Most of my riding is in Texas when it's hot and sunny wearing sunglasses so I opted for clear rather than the tinted mirror. The view from behind is as good as it gets and the peace of mind you get from it is priceless. ... show more

So I looked all over the internet for “scooter” mirrors to no avail. Every mirror I could find was for bicycles. Most had long stems that cause way too much vibration and distort the images so badly it was hard to make out what I was looking at. The shorter stem mirrors were no good because I couldn’t see around my arms and some bar end mirrors wouldn’t fit my scooter due to the style of my handlebars. The solution was to buy a handlebar extension and then find some good bar end mirrors. Again not as easy as it sounds. Most of them are too small to see anything or they are convex making everything look way too far away. I finally came across the Meachow bar end mirrors and for $15 bucks a piece, why not. I was impressed right away. Very simple yet super functional design, can be adjusted either vertical or horizontal depending on personal preference and need. They are all plastic, however, very strong plastic with real glass. Images are very crisp and clear with the silver colored glass. The handlebar extension (15”) put the mirrors in the ideal position. Narrow enough to fit through tight spaces and wide enough to see around my body. I am very happy with my new set up. I would most definitely purchase these again. Great product overall but I wish it came with dust plugs to cover the adjustment holes when finished with the installation. That not only protects the adjustment bolts from corrosion, but provides the finishing touch to the installation.

I have a Women’s Diamondback Lux that my husband converted into a 750 watt e-bike. I didn’t have any more room in n my handlebars except at the end. So happy to have found this mirror which fits on the end of my handlebar. I got the left side mirror. This fits and it’s a much needed safety feature. This mirror uses automotive glass and is an excellent product. I highly recommend. Previously I had a very cheap mirror on this bike prior that would vibrate loose and shift so I was constantly having to reposition it plus the mirror quality was junk. I have over 2,000 miles on my electric bike. I should have upgraded my bike with this mirror a long time ago. I’m so glad I finally did and I highly recommend this mirror. It stays in place while riding. It’s wonderful to see crisp clear images of rear traffic coming up behind you. Best safety piece of equipment I purchased for my bike aside from my bike helmet. I read reviews about these mirrors that said that they were nice but a bit on the flimsy side and they break easy. I took the chance coming from traditional bar mounted bicycle mirror that vibrated and was flimsy and the view in the mirror was anything but good. These mirrors are solid and its a crystal clear view behind you. I can't speak to longevity but I hope they last because I really like them. The only thing that might take some getting used to is the extra width at the handlebars. ... show more
