Do NOT slice the taped box seam open. Mine shipped with the front side facing the seam and the box is so close to the product that even though I was careful, I still nicked the plastic panel. The frame is sturdy, border is nice. Simple and not cheap looking like the plastic border ones. The back has hinged self-leveling hangers for portrait or landscape mounting. They are super solid. The thing I hate about this frame is that the back is secured by those little metal tabs you have to bend up first to get the back out in order to put the poster in. Then, once the poster is in place, you have to squeeze the back plate into the frame around those tabs and then bend them all back into place. It hurts your fingers and it's a bit difficult to get the back plate into place over the bent tabs. ... show more

These frames are very well made and easy to use. The short instructions were helpful. My posters were on very thick paper, making them a tight fit in these frames. Likes: - The pane is crystal clear. - The frame is square and sturdy. - My photo looks great in it! Dislike: - The rear is a pane (I love puns) to get back in. These are nice frames and decent quality- however BE CAREFUL OPENING!! Not sure WHY they package the frames front side up. There’s a warning on the box to not use something sharp to open … what else do you use? (Just curious) but if you don’t see the image- or it’s covered by a shipping label, you’ll end up slicing the front plastic of the frame, which happens to scratch very easily. ***idk if the manufacturer/packager(?) would even see this but like, turn the frame around! Would probably cut down on the amount of damaged returns :) ... show more

This "brass frame" is spray painted white plastic with those little metal tabs you bend back. Ultimately it gets the job done without breaking the bank and looks nice. Hardware on back to hang vertically or horizontally. It's a keeper.

Very inexpensive frame that actually looks more expensive than it is. It looks more of like a brushed-on gold color instead of a plastic frame that is gold. Brings emphasis to the artwork by matching the deeper tones of gold and brings it to life.
