Ok, I said this isn't a lift chair. Let me explain. A lift chair actually lifts. This pushes you from the back. It doesn't lift you at all. As a matter of fact, you are closer to the floor when it's done "lifting", because all that happens is the back comes up, while the front actually goes down. It's no easier to get out of than if it was just left as a regular chair. So, if you're expecting to be aided in lifting, go to a medical supply store and spend the money you were going to spend on this, on a real lift chair. On another note, I've had this 6 plus months. I'm 6'1'', 315 pounds, so I'm not small. This chair fits me ok width wise, but the seat depth is about 2-3 inches shorter than it should be for a big chair. My feet stick out over the foot rest by about 4 inches, so a deeper seat would really help. And, because of the cup holders the arms are too short. It fits pretty good in the back and neck, but I feel I am way too big for this chair. If any of you are my size or bigger, pass on all Amazon chairs, because unless I missed something, it doesn't get any bigger on this site than this chair. I should have sent it back when I had the chance. My wife is 5'4', 125 pounds and this chair fits her well so she uses it. Oh, and don't worry about her...she always takes the top. Update 6/14/23: I could not be happier with their customer service. Although nothing can be done with this particular chair to address the issues I mentioned, they promised they'll take into account said issues, when making these chairs in the future; so be watching for those changes down the road sometime. I believe that if they can do something about my concerns, this company will. I felt genuine concern, on their part, for my happiness. So much so, that they wanted pictures of the chair, which I provided. It had too much everyday wear for them to take it back, so instead they offered me a substantial refund off the purchase price, which I happily accepted. My response to Mcombo when I purchased one of the remotes for their poorly made lift chairs. They had the nerve to cancel my order and tell me that they are sorry instead of accommodating me and then ask me if they solved my problem!!: The information said that one item was available. I purchased it and I was told that it was being shipped. I received an email saying that it was no longer available! I'm a 71 yr old disabled person and I really needed the item! 1st of all your lift chairs are not put together well 😑! The screws constantly fall out of the part that lifts the chair and no matter how many times the screws are replaced they continue to come out or break! I purchased this Mcombo chair in 2019 and just a few months after purchasing it it began to be a constant issue. It was past the last day of return and I didn't purchase the warranty because it is too expensive. I referred you to a very dear friend and she purchased lift chair from you and she began to have issues too. She'd purchased the warranty however, it didn't cover repairing the entire issue so she would have pay out of pocket more than it'd cost to purchase another chair. Both of us are on fixed incomes and we're both disabled. She passed a couple of months ago which has nothing to do with the chair but plenty of times we struggled just to get up to the bathroom because we are both incontinent. I hurt in my body every where and I get cold a lot. I've already replaced the remote control to lift my chair because the cable came aloose from the remote like a cheap cell phone charger because it was poorly made. Now my son-in -law is changing the screws every day because they keep breaking. I've asked one of my daughters to purchase me another lift chair because I'm afraid that the screws will come out or break when I'm home alone and no one will be her e to help me get up like yesterday. I used the bathroom on myself for several hours because I was home alone with no one to help me get up. I cried because I felt so humiliated. You know that your products are poorly manufactured and parts need to be replaced so you should always have them available and not for a ridiculous price. I'd seen the remote replacement for the heat and massage but it was $90 plus dollars and could not afford to buy it. When I saw it was $25 and there was only one I felt like one of my so many issues with my chronic disease was solved and I would be able to have some and massage therapy for my painful body. I know that you can provide me with that replacement remote control but you'd rather send me a dear John letter as if it solves my problem with your product! It's not acceptable! I've read other reviews recently that people having the same experience and you are dealing with derly sick and disabled people. You are a cruel heartless company and I don't know how you sleep at night in peace when you are supposed to be providing a product that provides peace for a people who desperately want to be able to be comfortable and as independent as possible during our final days. You should invest in fixing the problems with your products and services. I will never refer you to any one again nor will I eve purchase any Mcombo lift chairs or products from you!! How damn hard could it be to provide me or others with the remote that I need?!!! You can do much better if you have the best interest of people at heart! However, it's obvious that you are only interested in making a secure financial future for yourself!!! I was so leary of buying a chair online. This was for my elderly mother, who is not able to go out and shop for a chair. I researched best recliners and this brand Mcombo kept popping up on all the lists. Found this chair on Amazon for an incredible price, especially with ALL the features! It arrived on time and was very easy to put together. My mother LOVES the chair! It has lots of pockets, for storage of her puzzle books, calendars, etc. The cup holders are a bonus as are the usb chargers for her phone. She hasn’t used the massage or heat features much yet, but they are amazing. (Of course, I tried all the features out.) This was her first experience with a lift chair, and it is so helpful as her strength continues to decline. Be sure to order based on height of user. Buy this chair!     • Easy to assemble!

Bought this for my 75-yr old brother. He loves it! He doesn’t have to struggle to get up out of the chair. He loves the massage after he comes in from work. He’s looking forward to the heating feature this winter. Very comfy! One thing- chair is small- not for a large person.

The chair physically assembles quite easily. My only problem with it is that the electrical connections are a mishmash of barrel connectors, 'y' cables and loose ends. They function but are a mess to manage. Plan on adding a fair number of zip ties to keep everything tidy --- this could all have been done better with a little engineering. ... show more
